The Bush family has had a bigger hand in destroying the country than Clinton or Obama. Endless wars, compassionate conservatism (cuck conservatism), destroyed what Reagan built, got Clinton elected and so on. What a traitorous family.

Both Bushes were worried about how they looked more than being a true conservative president

It's a miracle at this point Bush 43 got something right with Sam Alito and Alito has been a damn good justice.

Reagan was almost a perfect president. His biggest mistake was hiring GHWB as VP.

By far his biggest mistake. If not for that it's very unlikely HW ever becomes Pres.

I loved Reagan. Voted for Perot rather than re-elect that putz Bush.

The GOPe forced Reagan to take Bush as VP.

Reagan was an outsider, Bush was an insider.

He had to be threatened into doing that.

Remember the attempt to put Harriet Myers on the court?

GHWB was the last American President to win a war and he stuck to the mission parameters in doing so and he was smart enough to leave Saddam alone in Iraq. Furthermore, he skillfully managed the collapse of the soviet union and handled german reunification very well.

41 is one of America's best foreign policy Presidents.

His absolute moron of a son 43 is the problem here and he has completely destroyed the name of the Bush family and (thankfully) made sure his brother absolutely had no chance at being President.

The Bush’s were globalist scum who cared more about lining their pockets , then helping the American people . Neither were conservatives . Only good thing Bush I did was give us Clarence Thomas .

I'm sure there are a mind-boggling amount of people out there that still don't realize it was all intentional, too.

Bush saw how Reagan was vilified every day by the press. He wanted to be liked by the press. That's not unusual for GOP leaders...think Romney and McCain.
While Bush was president we conservatives KNEW this was a horrible idea. Never extend the hand of friendship to the Dems. They will cut off your whole arm.

Trump has learned this lesson.

The liberals always fall in line once on the SC. They are very reliable for their side. Why do so many Republican appointees cross over when it counts? It's war now. Trump needs to pick smart if he gets another one.

To be fair, GW grew up in Midland and Houston, so he came by the accent honestly, even though he spent a ton of time on the East Coast.

It grated on my ears to hear GHW pronounce Tuesday as “Tyuesdy.”

Jeb, Neil and Marvin were born in Midland. Dorothy was born in Houston.

But carpetbaggers, they still are.

Oh, and Reagan gave us Anthony Kennedy, who was middle of the road. But he was second choice after Douglas Ginsburg (the original nominee) was found to have smoked marijuana and withdrew.

It was essential to their scam too: convince middle American baws that you're one of them and that it's patriotic to go put your life on the line in some mideastern shithole meanwhile you leave the immigration floodgates wide the frick open back on their families back home. Dumbya: "conservativism doesn't end at the Rio grande!" Well neither will the US in a few decades

GHWB was an extreme insider. Check out Russ Baker's book Family of Secrets: The Bush Dynasty, America's Invisible Government, and the Hidden History of the Last Fifty Years - 2010.
