Trump and Democrats Get Paxton in Texas, the Senate Nominee They All Wanted

Ken Paxton romped to a victory Tuesday, setting up a high-stakes November election against James Talarico that has rekindled Democratic hopes in Texas
quote:
WASHINGTON—President Trump and Democrats rarely find themselves in alignment. Yet both sides wanted the same outcome in Tuesday’s Texas Senate primary runoff election.
Ken Paxton’s trouncing of incumbent Sen. John Cornyn in the Republican runoff represents Trump’s latest triumph in maintaining his grip on his MAGA base after he similarly ousted rivals in Indiana, Louisiana and Kentucky. But to the delight of Democrats, the president’s decision to make an 11th-hour endorsement of Paxton could put the Senate seat in play for James Talarico after decades of Democratic futility in the Lone Star State.
Man, the Bush RINO's are mad, mad over at the WSJ this morning. How the hell do they figure Paxton winning gives Talarico a shot?

Delusional retardation.

I read that article as well. The comments section is a hoot. I don't know if they loved Cornyn, but they definitely hate Paxton.
And they are smoking some good weed if they think that Talarico poofta and his bogus religious views are going to fly anywhere outside of Austin and Deep Ellum. The whole premise is that he is unpopular and GOP voters will stay home. That simply will not happen.

No it hasn't, that's just just more democrat taqiyah. Their hope was to retain the uniparty stalwart Cornyn.

Perfect way to put it. The Establishment Republicans, such as the corrupt Bush family cabal, are just as much a part of our corrupt system as the Democrats. Maybe not as crazy, but just as corrupt.
I've said it before, but the Deep State had 2016 set up as a race between two Establishment hacks, Hildabeast Clinton and Jeb Bush. No matter which one would've won, our corrupt system wouldve remained intact.
Thank God that OMB came along and changed the dynamics of American politics.

Because Paxton is a criminal who got impeached by a Republican legislature

Im calling it right now: the WSJ pulls a Lincoln Project and full-out endorses whatever whack job gets the 2028 Dem POTUS nominee.

Simply put, the Bush's are democrats. They did not want a wall. They adore democrats immigration. They go ching ching if America turns into California.
GHW Bush set up the great reset-globalization with his new world order speech...
The Bush's and Cornyns are only R because they settled in Midland after the Yankee stint was over. Oil Texas ching ching...

If Ken Paxton was as bad as they wanted him to be, he would have been beaten in one of the 3 state wide AG races he won.
They are running py-ops bullshite. Paxton just has to keep being Paxton. Don't move an inch to the middle just to win the general. Remember how you got here.
He may not be a choir boy but at least he is not a Democrat. And that still means something in Texas. At least for a few more years.

There is also the Jeb “clap, please” formula of running left in the primary in preparation for the general election then getting absolutely buttfricked in the primary for being an idiot.

I have no sympathy. If the GOP doesn't understand that Trump winning the second time, and effectively being the solid face of the party for the last decade; if they don't understand he's the undisputed leader of the party, then frick em all.
He is going to demand loyalty from the party and he has every right to. If you think you can just coast around as GOPe old guard, you're about to get rightfully primaried.
