Britain Now Has Their Trump: Boris Johnson Is The New Prime Minister

First order of business: to clean out the Remainers (those who want to stay in the EU for those unfamiliar with term) in the cabinet. Remainers outnumbered Brexiteers 3 to 1 in now former PM Theresa May’s cabinet. PM Johnson says he will fill his cabinet with Brexiteers. Why? “To end self doubt. It’s time for strong leadership from the government.”
PM Johnson likes President Trump and says he will meet with the President three times in his first 100 days. Trump has taken to calling the new PM “Britain’s Trump.”
MP (Member Of Parliament) Priti Patel, one of the most outspoken Brexiteers, will have a prominent position in the new cabinet.
Patel
Moreover, political strategist and leader of Vote Leave campaign Dominic Cummings will serve as a chief advisor to the PM. To many on the left and in the media, this guy is enemy no. 1. Think Karl Rove or Steve Bannon in terms of the hatred directed at him.
Cummings
There is pressure on the PM to retain current foreign minister Jeremy Hunt, who was the main and final challenger to Boris for PM, as a gesture of unity for the Conservative Party. Also Hunt is seen as a moderate pragmatist (he straddled the fence on most critical issues, including Brexit) and many Conservative Party Remainers want his influence in the government. Hunt is playing hardball, saying he will not accept a lower position in the cabinet. The PM is not tipping his hand as to whether he will keep Hunt as FM or sack him altogether.
Hunt
PM Johnson says Britain is leaving the EU on Oct 31 with or without a deal.
Adversaries are already taking position. Incoming EU President Ursula Von Der Leyun is already calling for delaying the Oct 31 deadline and reports say the EU is prepared to stonewall negotiations and drag the process as slowly as possible.
Ursula
Two prominent MPs from within the PM’s own Conservative Party, Dominic Grieve and outgoing Chancellor of the Exchequer Phillip Hammond, have publicly stated that they will not hesitate to bring down their own party’s government in the event of no deal Brexit. They lead a group of around 40 dissenting Conservative Party MPs (think GOPe, NeverTrumpers) that have gone public with their opposition to no deal Brexit. They have publicly stated that they will move for a no confidence vote and side with the opposition Labor, Liberal Democrat, and Scottish National parties to bring down the government.

One of the top articles in the failing new york times Euro section is titled “Outgoing British Finance Chief Says He Will Quit Rather Than Serve Boris Johnson.” That’s rather droll as he was never going to be offered a role. It’s like Jeb! saying he would quit before serving Trump.
Much of the media reaction has been like this:
And this:
With a few exceptions like this:
And this:
My info comes from a variety of sources, primarily the Daily Telegraph, the Guardian, and the BBC. Most articles sourced are pay.

I think you lack understanding of what a hard Brexit means, for the people of the UK and countries in Europe. Particularly my home Ireland, where it can mean violence murder and hatred.
All in the name of arrogance. The british people made a mistake. One they should get an opportunity to undo.

Tell me, what treaty or trade agreement could an economy like the UK not make on its own? What exactly about your sovereignty scares you?

I don’t think you have any understanding at all.
People of a country voted for sovereignty rather than being ruled by a small hand full of pricks in Brussels.

Isn’t that exactly what Brexit is?
Britain made a mistake and joined the EU, and then they got the “opportunity to undo”.

Imagine the strong and independent Irish want to be ruled by unelected masters in Brussles.

Ah, the old "we'll keep voting until we get the results we want and they don't count until we get those results and once we do they can never be questioned" trick!

Why would this happen in Ireland? Ireland is not part of Great Britian, it will still be sold out to the EU.

So in order to pacify the fascists threatening violence if Brexit happens, the people should not do what is best for the country?
Isn't that fascism? Do you understand what you just posted?

Yep. Just keep voting until you get the result you want. That's the EU way.

The Lisbon treaty was such a screw job.

Let's be honest, in Ireland disagreeing on pizza toppings can lead to violence, murder, and hatred.

So, keep voting until you get the outcome YOU want???
17.4 million voted to leave
16.1 million people voted to stay
13 million registered voters did not vote
Kind of a idiotic to decide an issue of this magnitude with only ~37% of registered voters "Leave", ~35% "Stay", ~27% "Did not vote"

That's what they're trying to prevent. Unless you believe the Western EU countries and their suicidal tendencies give a damn about your well-being.
