The US is carrying out major strikes on Iran for the sixth night in a row.

Officials in southern Iran’s Bandar Abbas report that civilian infrastructure, including power facilities and a train station, has been hit.

Iran’s army says it has targeted US aircraft at a military base in Bahrain, while Kuwait’s army says it is responding to missile and drone attacks.

Here are the reported targets:

Ahvaz, Qeshm, Bushehr, Dashti, Bostan, Sirik and Bandar-e Lengeh:

Explosions were reported across these southern coastal cities and islands, causing more extensive damage to infrastructure than in previous nights.

Bandar e-Khamir: Two bridges near the city were struck.

Bandar Abbas: The Tapeh Allah Akbar neighbourhood was hit, alongside several other explosions reported across the city.

Hormozgan province: Road and railway infrastructure was targeted.

Iranshahr: The airport in the southeastern city was attacked, causing damage to the facility and leading to power outages.

Kish Island: Air strikes were reported on the island, resulting in temporary power outages in some areas.

I never liked the timing of this Iran military operation, but now that we're neck deep in it we have to win it.

when a constrictor has its prey wrapped up it occasionally rests but never lets go. once it has built up enough energy it starts to tighten its grip again until the prey succumbs

then it eats

Iranian state media and local authorities report that five bridges in Hormozgan Province were struck in the latest US attacks on southern Iran.

According to Hormozgan Governorate officials, in addition to the earlier attack on Kahurestan Bridge, four more bridges in Khamir County were targeted:

1)Gariyeh Bridge on the Bandar Abbas–Khamir–Lar route

2)The bridge after Latidan village (Kolmetli) on the return route from Bandar Abbas to Khamir and Lar

3)Two bridges on the Kahurestan–Lar route

4)A half built bridge on the Bandar Khamir–Keshar–Bandar Abbas axis

5)The bridge in Maroo village, Khamir County

We are effectively cutting off the coast from the rest of the country.

Over 85 percent of their containers and over 50 percent of their exports travel through that area.

Course thats if they even get to the port or out of it......

Boarding Actions: U.S. Marines have executed high-stakes operations (such as deploying rappelling teams from helicopters) to intercept and board vessels (e.g., the M/T Wen Yao) suspected of transporting Iranian crude oil to enforce compliance.

Disabled Ships: U.S. forces have utilized disabling fire against commercial and oil tankers (e.g., the Curaçao-flagged M/T Belma) that ignored multiple warnings and attempted to breach the blockade by heading toward Iranian coastal areas.

Turnarounds: U.S. destroyers and surveillance assets have successfully contacted and turned around nearly a dozen Iranian-linked tankers to prevent them from slipping through the blockade.

There is also this, Bessent going after the PERSONAL bank accounts of the leaders.....

quote:

U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has spearheaded a massive crackdown freezing and seizing over $1.1 billion in Iranian cryptocurrency holdings and targeted the personal fortunes of regime leaders as part of "Operation Economic Fury."

That will leave a mark. But wait, I thought they were religious fanatics, you mean they have offshore bank accounts, why would they need them if they are only interested in dying as martyrs, I must ask the MSM I think I have been misled.
