What was his reply?

Here are the cliff notes ....
.... neither you, nor the OP, nor the twitter source seem interested in providing Trump's answer to Baier's soliloquy.

Why is that?

That extremely odd exclusion says all one needs to know.

Trump probably watched Bolton on cable news and thought he looked the part. This is what happens when you have a president that doesn't put in the work and has no core principles.

Watching him now and he has become just unbearable. This isn't the same guy as the one bound and determined to fix America (MAGA). It's all about him now. Everything he did was perfect and everything bad was somebody elses fault. Ron "Desanctimonious" only won because Trump bestowed Ron his magical touch, and now he's disloyal and worthless.

None of this matters to Trump's base, and he has the largest base out of any republican running for POTUS by a mile.

He's mostly the same as he's ever been, it's just people have now been paying close attention for long enough to have receipts on his bullshite.

Of course. I have no doubt he'll beat DeSantis, but most people are looking at the general. And he's not winning anybody over with this megalomaniac everything I did was perfect shite

He just sounds like a whiny child in a 77 year olds body

True and that tells me exactly what this all is about. It's fan worship to a man who worships himself. Trump sicked his dogs on DeSantis because it made him pissy when Ron actually dared to steal some of Trump's spotlight. Now it's a daily battle on DeSantis and anyone else that isn't "loyal" to the king

Didn't even mention two of the worst - Wray to the FBI, and Fauci to the WH Coronavirus Task Force.

Bret's just another paid for hack. He knows better than do that say Wray or Fauci were poor hires. This was a Trump hit job by a total Rino.

And you wonder why we better elect Trump. This interview should be just another reason. Its Trump or this country is going Socialist and then Communist. Baier couldnt toss a few accolades to Trump in the entire interview? Really?

Why do the Elites hate Trump so much? What did he do to them that was so bad? Money? Power? Another reason Its Trump or nobody. Think about it. Vote Smarter!

Theyre a scared to death of Trump is why. They can never let a strong leader prove to the world that democracy and capitalism is still the best way to roll for the non-elites. Whether u like Trump or not, hes the only choice if you want less govt and more freedoms.

The guy has been the man. He's been his boss for his whole life. He can't think about the big issues and policy anymore. There is too much clouding his vision and thinking. But he's the boss.

Interesting. Got a link?

Check out a book called "Legacy of Ashes, The History of the CIA". It's an approved history of the CIA that they later regretted approving. They interviewed every living CIA Director among others on-the-record. I don't agree with their take on Dulles but the rest of the book is amazing. It goes into great detail about the Powers affair.

The audiobook is on YT every now and then but gets taken down just as quick.

Actually it's up right now so grab a copy:

Pt1: LINK
Pt2: LINK

EDIT: Eisenhower's official web site has all the documents. Powers was shot down May 1, 1960: LINK

Ron doesn't exist without the support of the Trump movement.

Instead of wanting Trump to answer the questions better Cult45 expects the interviewer to kiss Trump's arse.

Baier didn't hire those people that Trump now calls "small brains". But he's wrong to question Trump about it.

I guess Ron being the most popular and effective conservative governor in years is due to Trump's movement of Mr Rob Desanctimonious poopy pants
