Who said anything about supreme, unlimited power?

This is about securing the border and keeping out illegal aliens. This is a basic function of a government that literally every other nation in the world understands and gets right.
Becoming a banana republic trying to keep
out people from banana republic isn’t a “win”.

What can be interpreted can be re-interpreted. John Roberts over-arching personality trait is cowardice. Big MAGA gains in the mid-terms will bring Roberts to heel.
I doubt it. Roberts has shown he cannot be relied on to rule in favor of the betterment of our nation.

How do you get from "remove illegal aliens" to "dictator?" Makes absolutely no sense. This is a very basic function of a government. We do not have a nation of laws if those laws do not allow for this function.

I realize you don’t even understand what you’re actually advocating for, so we’re approaching the teaching a dog calculus point.

is that what you think I said?
They enjoined the government from deporting illegal aliens. That's what this entire thread is about. If you're advocating for this, you are arguing that our government should not be able to freely perform this very basic function of a government.
Due process for this should be simple:
1. Check a database for legal status
2. Remove if not legal.
Claiming a court is necessary for this is pure lunacy. It is a waste of both time and resources.
This is exactly why and how the first Trump admin got stalled, and y'all are itt acting like it's a great thing.

Just to counterpoint, Biden's immigration policy was not popular with at least 77,000,00 that give a shite about our country.

Looks like we lost our nation guys.
IMHO. We lost our nation when our Nation's biggest pass time was Nationally Broadcasting and showed the youth of this Nation that it was OK to publicly support Criminals, and while additionally making our local Police jobs ever harder than they already are.
And every single day these clowns are on National Television.
When we take those things back, We take our nation back.
Saints Coach Sean Payton said that he truly supported his guy to protest because that is (Quote) "What the Military worked their butts off for." (Quote)
Here's working your butt off looks like according to Sean Payton.

I asked specifically what “have to” means.
Do I have to drive the speed limit?

It’s a non-sequitur in relation to his oath.

If we can even get it that efficient, it will still take forever.
Biden let them in by the thousands a day, over 4 years basically.
If we have to go through an extended process to return one, we won't get 10% of them out in 4 years.

Removing illegal aliens is as far away from a dictatorship as you can possibly get.
Not removing them is closer to dictatorship, especially in a Democracy. It dilutes the power of our citizens unilaterally without any care given to our wellbeing.

Yes, we're definitely not going to be able to remove them all unless we keep electing people who want to remove them beyond Trump’s term.

That's what these guys want. They're advocating for the destruction of our nation and pretending that's an emotional thing to say.
It isn't. It's reality. If we don't stop letting in illegal aliens, and remove ALL of the ones here already, the ship is sunk. Our laws are meaningless.

At a macro level, the process is proscribed by the Constitution. At a micro level, it’s detailed by Congress.
Any changes need to go through one of those two routes.
