Breitbart

quote:

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) told Breitbart News on Wednesday that he intends to fully release to the public the tens of thousands of hours of U.S. Capitol surveillance footage from January 6, 2021.

McCarthy’s comments came during a wide-ranging hourlong on-camera interview in the ceremonial U.S. House speaker’s office in his first sit-down interview since Fox News host Tucker Carlson aired on his program some never-before-seen clips of such surveillance footage earlier this week.

“Yeah,” McCarthy said when asked if the tapes will be fully released to the public.

Should I hold my breath?

Let's go, motherfricker.

To his credit, McCarthy has delivered on pretty much every promise I think he initially made. In record time, no less.

If true does this put Tucker and Fox News in a bind if Fox News is suppressing some of the tapes?

I agree with this... and I was highly skeptical of McCarthy.

The fact he mentioned it again makes me honestly believe him. The dems claim it basically points out where all the cameras are so it's a threat to national security, but I trust KM will only hold back things that could somehow tip terrorists off or what not.

Also, there will be a counterattack to all this. The leftists will also cut it all up to make it look like the Arab Spring, but I think this will finally put a lot of the bullshite to bed.

January 6 was overall a shitty thing, but it wasn't even close to being a 9/11 or Dec 7 1941 kind of event the democrats and mass media are working so hard to prove. And I think the sheet is about to be pulled off to quash this as a talking point for them forever.

Dems won’t like it when tiktok exposes all this. I enjoy my patriotic ppl on their roasting dems. This is why dems are going after tiktok these days, not because of China but the strong majority on there exposing politics.

Jan 6 was literally nothing. The Dems caused more of a scene at Trump's and Bush's inaugurations.

If they're suppressing stuff people need to see, I'd say yes. Although I think the chances of another "bombshell" one way or another (after both sides have released their favorite parts) is pretty low.

I was one of his biggest critics. I straight up hated that dude and was very discouraged he ended up with the position.

As of right now though, I'm completely doing a 180 on how I feel about him. He's following through on it all and though a lot of it still has yet to be proven, I'm very happy with how he's began his tenure here.

It may put FNC in a bind, but Tucker can always say "they refused to let me broadcast them after that first round". Once it's out in the public domain it will be interesting to see how Tucker is limited in reporting it (ie: FNC's blocking of him). What will also be interesting is how the Attkissons, Greenwalds, etc will pick up what he is barred from reporting (and they don't have to worry about losing their jobs for naming names).

It will also expose the dems editing and production of the events. I think this is why they don’t want it out. Also why both republicans got out of office, especially kinzinger.

Bush broke tradition and was the first president in forever to not walk down Pennsylvania Ave. The SS wouldn't let him because the protestors were out of control and it was too dangerous. This was unprecedented. The media was proud of this, and considered it proof of his election being questionable.

McCarthy has been a pleasant surprise thus far. Perhaps it’s the negotiations that molded him into the leader the GOP needed, but he’s been great.
