I bought a 6 pack of Billy beer to drink while waiting in line for a ration of gasoline but got so pissed off that I've been saving the last one for over 45 years for just this moment.

Probably a decent man, better than most but I suspect everyone is compromised to rise to the office of President. Good men can't survive that gauntlet

Still pissed he robbed Greg Lemond of Olympic gold.

He screwed a lot of athletes that summer. If the Soviets had invaded just a bit sooner, he was going to boycott the Lake Placid games - meaning the Miracle on Ice would have never happened.

His best moment was probably going to 3 Mile Island. His presence helped reassure the nation that things were under control.

He does the same shite on other boards. Most notably the MSB.

He’s a volunteer referee if that tells you anything

He campaigned with George Wallace to beat a good governor, Carl Sanders, for governor of Georgia. HIs strategy was to paint Sanders as what was referred to at the time a "****** lover." Sanders owned the Atlanta Hawks and Carter sent pictures of Sanders with this arms around the black players to Wallace's mailing list in Georgia.

The thing about Carter is, if he drops the "R" at the end you don't know if he's trying to be nice or just talking like Jimmy Carter.

100% this. I believe President Carter was a nuclear engineer in the navy, so he definitely knew what he was doing when he was going there.

Maybe third after Biden and Obama. It is a toss up if he is better or worse then Bush.

His policies caused more harm to the American people than any other President in my life time.
His policies destroyed the Nuclear Power industry.
He never met a Communist Dictator that he didn't like.
He left American citizens in Jails in Iran.
He, Biden and, Obama were all phony A holes.

Installed the Mullah regime in Iran.
Gave away the Panama Canal - which is now basically owned by the CCP.
Drove inflation through the roof - like Biden
preached the era of malaise
