This is laughable. Did Seth get murdered? Have the killers been found? What's fake about that?

None of that counters the fact that this was another made up conspiracy theory by right wing nut jobs. You dolts are so gullible.

And to SirWinston I would add that calling greiving parents cucks is about what I expect from Trumpsters. Low class!

Interesting you discount the possibility that NPR, especially given NPR idiotically reporting as if one side's charges in a lawsuit are indisputable facts.

NPR never once indicates the allegations of Wheeler are undisputed fact. You are reaching and its sad.

In fact they are careful to use words like "allege" when describing the content of the lawsuit.

First trip into the thread and it is to try and act as the defense force for Fox News's behavior and defame the place reporting on a negative story about Fox News. Fox News has taught you well lol.

I could not care less about foxnews. I haven't watched it regularly ever. I probably have not watched a complete episode of any of their programming in over ten years. I also don't listen to talk radio. I just like pointing out how you are guilty of the exact thing you try to mock others of. It's spectacular to watch. The lack of self-awareness is mesmerizing

The assumption in left wing circles is that if you have a conservative position on something, it is because you got it from fox news, and it is therefore wrong and I have already won the debate.

It's exactly what the bonhoeffer is doing in this thread.

You seem to be projecting, but by all means, pleas unpack for me this gross hypocrisy you seem to think is going on?

I just wanted to pop in and say that the DNC murdered Seth Rich and Bill Clinton is still a rapist.

Please tell me you're kidding. WaPo and NYT are the kings of fake news. Here's 32 examples of fake news from the MSM: LINK
A pretty pathetic list. Predictably it includes the MLK Bust tweet that lasted a couple of hours.

About half of the list is fake claims of fake news.

Trump = fake news.
What a fricking twist. I feel like we're watching "The Truman Show" wrapped up in "The Apprentice".

Nah, my point is about the general media diet of people that primarily identify as conservatives. And that it is shite. And to defend that shittiness they often make appeals to bias and whataboutsims. Which was proven true by most of the responses put forward since the statement.

Frankly I only made a comment about how obvious it should be to most people that something like this is going on unless you live in the right-wing bubble and trust Fox News.

You decided to take up the mantra of pushing back on my half-hearted statement with the whataboutism game, which if it didn't describe you, then I wonder why you have gotten so triggered over it? What made you so interested in pushing back?

Ahh...but this is not what your graph says, now is it? Your graph polls who is most trusted...not who do you watch or how much do you watch. You make assumptions in an attempt to patronize those that disagree with you.

Pretty low-level debate skills, bud. Try to do better.

The narrative of the conspiracy is baseless, Fox has even retracted their statement.

I know you probably missed it because Fox only issued a brief retraction on their website and no consequences for anyone involved in the perpetuation of the self-declared false story, but they did.

I will kinda miss the prominence of the Seth Rich story though, it is a great barometer of people's capacity for discerning credible stories from non-credible ones, like Pizza-gate or the birther story, and that has some value in and of itself. Tells you who the dolts are. Especially when those same people will reflexively say something like "muh Russians" to defend themselves. As if that doesn't just indirectly say you are putting your belief in something comparable to a story you personally dismiss off hand as absurd.

bonhoeffer, you really don't have a handle on this audience. e.g., I find FoxNews largely unwatchable. I'd guess >90% of my TV news comes via CNBC or FBN. After that it's a split between FNN and CNN. Sorry to burst your bubble. I simply hate the hypocrisy.

So what are all these highly credible right-wing organizations the right, and more specifically PT, garner their daily media diet from?

How do you explain the overwhelming absorption and belief in stories like Seth Rich and the now retracted statements that originated in this discredited Fox News lawsuit around here?

And if you can avoid anchoring "muh Russians," "liberals," and any other deflectionary non-answer it would help your case.

First of all, I have no desire or need to "make a case" or to convince you of anything. If one thing is clear it is that you have a terrible habit of building straw men and defeating arguments hat nobody has
made

Ah. Here is a great example of your lack of critical thought. You are under the impression the only place conservatives can consume news is from FoxNews. This reveals two things about you to us all. 1). You are very aware of the liberal bias in media and 2) the only conservative outlet you can think of is foxnews.

Both of those points don't speak very highly of your intellect and capacity.

You should probably define "overwhelming". I really don't think you have a pulse on this board. You have created a caricature in your head of what the "board" is and you spend your time battling that caricature.

what makes the editorial section (which forms the VAST majority of clicks on a news site) of national review, wsj, daily caller, the federalist, reason, etc any different than the editorial section of nyt and wapo?

I don't deny that wapo and nyt have better INVESTIGATIVE apparatuses than most places, but that's not an opinion-forming process.

Based on your volume of posts over 15 years, and the fact I don't think there has been more then 1 or 2 threads in the last few weeks you haven't shown up in quoting me, I would suspect that you get a lot of your political diet from PT. Which is a place that loves to basically circle jerk about whatever Rush, Hannity, Levin, Tucker, or Trump says on the daily. Post the latests and greatest from The Gateway Pundit, Breit Bart, and Fox News.

Just by glancing at the first page of PT I see 4 threads with Breit Bart as the primary source, 4 threads with Fox News(not including this one), 1 thread talking about what Rush has been saying, and several linking primarily to conservative blogs or web sites. What am I missing about this "audience" exactly lol?

I would say that chart is a pretty accurate reflection of what conservatives around here consume as their media diets, with a lot less WSJ.
