The only fools on here are the poor souls contantly and desperately looking for "the next big thing" to bring down Trump.

You'd think after this much time either they'd have something of substance or find a better use of their time. Either their time just isnt that valuable or they are delusional.

This is coming from a person that didnt vote for Trump and is not particularly fond of him.

This story is about fox news, not trump. It is a pretty big story, but why did wheeler go along with this charade?

I agree the presented evidence directly damages Fox News.

It also contradicts Sean Spicer's comments to the press that he hadn't talked to anyone about the story. He just contradicted that by acknowledging that he in fact did meet w/ Wheeler and the rich donor to discuss the story.

His allegation was that Fox News fabricated his quotes and the story at the behest of the White House and specifically Trump.
Rod Wheeler was headline news saying he saw Seth's laptops with the DNC emails.

However, Fox has him on air essentially backing up those assertions on Hannity in May.

Without getting into the politics of the whole thing, from a legal standpoint, Wheeler probably has something of a case against Fox but it's weak. Unless Wheeler has tapes of each and every meeting with Zimmerman and Butkowski, the presumption would generally go to the defendant in a civil trial which this would be.

Wheeler acts as though he is some victim in the case, but he was all over Fox and Hannity during that period suggesting and backing up many of these assertions that he is now distancing himself from.

If I were Fox I would distance myself from Zimmerman

My guess is the same as yours on the matter, there will be a settlement

the heart of this entire matter is when Rod Wheeler broke this story saying he knew of and or saw Seth Rich's laptop with DNC wikiLeaks emails on it. the reaction of the DNC was quite telling. they flipped out. If they were as innocent as doves; why didn't they put up reward money or help Seth's parents with answers?

LOL...your attempt at deflection is delicious.

The Trump presidency continues to belly flop. He is rapidly losing his mandate to lead this nation.

I'm not sure Wheeler has ever said that he saw Rich's lap top. He did say he knew a Federal agent who had laid eyes on the case file. Wheeler was trying to get his 15 minutes of fame during May . As an attorney, I have questions about the investigation.

1) If this was a robbery gone bad , why is it that the police investigating this robbery seize the victim's computer?

2) If DC police did bring it into evidence, there HAS to be some record of the evidence being logged in at the evidence room. This is standard procedure for just about any police department

3) Do we know that the computer was even brought into evidence? Is this some sort of urban myth? As an attorney , I would want to know the name of the detective leading the case.

4) If this is a case of a botched robbery , why is it that the FBI is allegedly involved?

I'm not suggesting that this is a conspiracy, it could very well be a robbery gone bad. But if what is suggested is true about the missing laptop, why do no law enforcement agencies claim to have it in evidence?

Excellent points but DC's police is powered by and surrounded with partisan democrats; including DWS's brother Steven. There will never be any real investigation until an IG and or SC takes the case.

I assume you're being serious, because those last two sentences scream sarcasm/joke to me.
