The political establishment (on both sides) has pretty much made the impeachment procedure a joke, much akin to crying wolf. Since the 90s when Clinton was impeached for lying to Congress, Every time the President does something they don't like, the other side screams for Impeachment. It's become really loud the past 6 month since they really can't stand Trump.
The problem could come, that in the future there could actually be a situation that warrants Impeachment proceedings, but no one in the general public will take it seriously anymore.

They ALL did this.
And, they ALL laughed at us and said we were "stupid to believe FOX News(I never listen)"
They ALL were so certain because all they heard was a cacophony of CNN and their favorite liberal web sites.
They just could not possibly believe they weren't witnessing a tidal wave against Trump.
Meanwhile, I was sitting back noticing little things in regular daily life that made me think, "hmm, that's not what I should expect in a 98% chance of loss scenario".
Now. Did I know Trump would win? Of course not. But, I knew for damned sure liberals were over playing their hand.
And, you'd think that would at least give them pause this time? But, nope.
