Criminals will get guns whether there are stricter laws or not. All your are doing is taking away the right to defend yourself.

The shooter went to a place that RESTRICTS WEAPONS. He didn't care about the law.

Buffalo and Chicago have some of the strictest gun laws out there.

Your thinking is small minded and nonsensical.

In 2018, there were 10,000 deaths by firearm in the USA. Of those 10k, less than 300 were by a rifle of any sort.

Twice as many people, 672, were killed by someone else’s hands, arms or feet….so what should we ban?

FBI LINK

Also, you know how many people/kids died of Fentanyl last year?

A shiiiiitlod more than by guns, so why not jump on the border band wagon to stop that shite from coming in…

PS - it’s already illegal to own straight fentanyl and that’s not stopping people….

They will get less guns though.

shite last time I checked Drug cartels were trafficking guns OUT of the US.

Which is why restricting gun zones doesn’t work if you let people have guns.

And people in those cities have fricking cars and can drive somewhere that doesn’t have the strictest gun laws. I agree half measures don’t work.

You’re advocating giving up and allowing gun violence to continue to consume thousands a year. Including some of our most innocent.

I agree Banning rifles is not going to change the statistics

It’s easier to make fentanyl than a gun.

Excpwt where guns are legal super available and produced by companies funding our lawmakers.

Its easier to get fentanyl on the street than from a doctor. That should be a clue for you.

Again, fentanyl is cheap and easy to
Make. A little goes a long way. There is a reason they substitute it for other drugs.

Guns require machines metal, gunpowder.

They’re harder to produce than fentanyl. The are easier to detect with metal detectors.

And it’s easier to find a gun than fentanyl.

I dont Know any drug dealers but I can Google Several firearms stores.

Why couldn’t we defeat the Taliban? We had more guns than them. Why couldn’t the Russians beat the Taliban? They also had more guns than them.

Great. So less guns in the US, thanks to the cartels, and we are having more shootings like this than ever. What was your point again about having less guns?

Works fine to your average run of the mill taxpayer and law abiding citizen.

Jesus. I hope you use that same stance when it comes to abortion (assuming that you are pro-choice).

I've never seen people openly dealing guns on the street corner. Last time was in Oakland, I saw it numerous times. In front of cops, no less.

No drug dealer has EVER required a background check or 3 day waiting period from me in order to purchase their product.

Want this to stop?
Then try this for a change.
* NEVER release the perps name. Make it major charge.
* Public hanging only wearing hood and tighty whites. (prefer a short rope and lots of suffering)
* MAKE all news cast and only social media platforms to display the hanging.
* The feed to pinned hungry hogs -- also displayed on all platforms.

Never a name and never a ounce of pity.

Might have 2 more then it will never happen again.

This.

As it is they become household names and celebrities. Some make the cover of fricking Rolling Stone as sex symbols.

It’s exactly what you’d do if you wanted to encourage this kind of behavior.

That criminals have an easier time buying guns here than trafficking guns in.

Because we sell lots and lots of guns legally.
Millions of guns every year.

I dont believe life begins at conception. So it’s not the same argument.

Except your helping to put tools that greatly assist in running, murdering and raping in the hands of people who can’t function in society. Hope you’re wife and kids are quick on the draw.
