How EXACTLY does this relate to Trump collusion?
She supposedly tried really really really hard to set up a meeting. Did she succeed?

Just so I understand...
The theory is that but for the Russian money that may have gone to the NRA (which is legal, by the way), the NRA would not have supported Trump in 2016?
That's pretty fricking stupid.

From reading the DOJ indictment, it apprears she was here on a student visa, but was also joining groups for the purpose of "advancing Russia". What that means specifically i guess we will find out. But at a minimum, she failed to "report as a agent of Russia" and lied on her student visa.
And i don't see where this ties in to any one in particular, especially anyone with the trump campaign or administration.
Also, did this come out as part of SC investigation, or is it something from the ongoing anti-espionage efforts of the FBI/DOJ/IC?

Collusion, collusion, collusion.
Do not change the narrative now people.
No one has denied or is surprised that Russia has spies.
Collusion is the part where Trump and his campaign were working with them, in case you needed some help.

no, the theory is that russia, in one of many attempts to influence the outcome of the election and thinking the trump campaign more willing to be pro-russian, met with trump, tried to find out if they could get him to agree with dismantling russian sanctions, then laundered millions of dollars into the NRA as a way to donate uncapped and untraced into the campaign.
the other indictments say that russian military cyberoperations known as the GRU hacked the DNC to provide fodder for the GOP campaign and trump's election
thus far, the DOJ has only indicted the russians, but have not indicted any campaign personnel regarding the hack, but have been named as actors in the indictment.

I'm just trying to figure out why we got a special counsel to investigate foreign intelligence agencies, this isn't really the scope of the investigation. This stuff should be handed over to the intelligence services to handle.
This isn't part of Mueller's investigation. It came directly from the DOJ.

this was defintely uncovered in mueller's investigation, but they tossed it to another USA to protect the investigation when mueller / RR is fired.

I'm not so sure that the average Poli Board reckless republican wouldn't take the side of a foreign agent against America.
quote:Nah. That's just your TDS talkin
In fact, many seem to be doing exactly that in this thread.
quote:Agreed
Regardless of political affiliation, we must take care to defend the country against malicious outsiders.
quote:Says the people who seem to think the fact Russian spies exist = proof of collusion.
It's perfectly fine to be skeptical as the criminal justice system is founded on honest skepticism, until proven otherwise, but these so-called conservatives here are spouting all kinds of irrational crap.

The Obama administration on Thursday revealed that 21.5 million people were swept up in a colossal breach of government computer systems that was far more damaging than initially thought, resulting in the theft of a vast trove of personal information, including Social Security numbers and some fingerprints.
Every person given a government background check for the last 15 years was probably affected, the Office of Personnel Management said in announcing the results of a forensic investigation of the episode, whose existence was known but not its sweeping toll.
The agency said hackers stole “sensitive information,” including addresses, health and financial history, and other private details, from 19.7 million people who had been subjected to a government background check, as well as 1.8 million others, including their spouses and friends. The theft was separate from, but related to, a breach revealed last month that compromised the personnel data of 4.2 million federal employees, officials said.
Both attacks are believed to have originated in China, although senior administration officials on Thursday declined to pinpoint a perpetrator, except to say that they had indications that the same actor carried out the two hacks.

the stone thing can not be confirmed at this point. but the thing that i posted is actually in the indictment so it means that the DOJ believes that Russians hacked the DNC, then conspired to contact a person who served as a third party intermediator between the trump campaign and russia.
thus, like i said, at this point, we have indictments of russian agents regarding the hack, but none thus far within the trump campaign.
well aside from pappadoupolis and manafort.
