I’m really not a person to goes down rabbit holes and talks about conspiracies but it really does seem like he’s got some kind of earpiece. And even if he doesn’t - then that stoic and creepy staring look is super bizarre.

There is something called an induction earpiece.
It can fit in someone’s ear and receive the audio under a foot of the transmitter.
It is less obvious that traditional tube based IFB’s.
