Boycott Olympics? I give you Ambrose "Rowdy" Gaines

When Carter boycotted the Olympics, Rowdy was the fastest human being in water, no one could touch him in the 100m freestyle. His career was probably over after the boycott was announced, 4 years is a lifetime for a male swimmer.
(there is a great doc on him somewhere on the net)
He quit swimming, and at one point I believe was a night clerk at a motel, living back at home, dreams shattered. Sitting on the back dock at his home his dad came out and sat with him and they had "the talk" as he and his dad laughingly called it. His dad said "Son, I will support you in anything you want to do in life. But if you do decide not to get back in the pool, I will never, ever sit here with you and have a talk about would have, should have, might have"....and he walked back in the house.
The next day Rowdy got back in the pool. Four years later, by the skin of his teeth, he made the Olympic team.
And on that special day, no longer the favorite, he took the blocks for the 100m, hit the water first and never looked back. He won three golds that Olympics.
Never, ever should politics be involved in the Olympic games.
War Eagle Rowdy.

Saluting his flag at the height of Jim Crow
By the way most people are taught the propaganda written by the International Bolshevists/High Finance that control those things.
Jessie Owen's WAS NOT snubbed by Adolf nor the crowd in Berlin.
quote:
Several other misconceptions about the 1936 Olympics are prevalent. Not only was Owens not rebuffed by Hitler, Owens wasn't shunned by the German audience at the Berlin stadium either. Baker reports that Owens so captured the imagination of the crowd it gave him several ear-shattering ovations.
In fact the only person that Jessie said ever snubbed him was racist democrat FDR, who never congratulated, wrote or invited him to the White House like the white athletes.

And he's forever enshrined in that photo as the man while Ms. Woketard in her clown makeup looks like an idiot forever.

There is no point for the athletes to boycott. It’s pretty clear that that’s not happening this time. The real problem goes back to awarding China with these Olympics, so shortly after they already held the summer games.
The international committee and its entire system needs to be uprooted and burned.

No one else really wanted them, it was either Beijing or Kazakhstan. IOC is having trouble even getting cities to bid these days.

And athletes today step on each other to get to a democrat president at the White House.

I’ve met Rowdy on several occasions. He’s a genuinely great guy. Nobody has a mean thing to say about him.

You don't pick up and go by the nickname "Rowdy" for nothing.

Unless it was the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, almost all Olympic Games are mismanaged by the cities that host them and it ‘s practically no different from setting money on fire.

True. We have itineraries of Hitler's Olympic schedule. They were distributed before the games began. He was not scheduled to be in the stadium when most track events were held.
