I'm an Assistant Scoutmaster and these have been a tough several years with the nonstop assault from all of the activists trying to destroy the BSA and these lawsuits popping up. Fortunately, all of the Councils around the nation and all of the troops with in those Councils are not part of the lawsuit. Life goes on.

The BSA did nearly double the annual membership fees for the Scouts to 60 for the youths and 39.00 for the adult volunteers. Liability insurance is a big reason.

We are seeing a lot of girls troops forming. They can't be coed and camp together but they are really embracing the program and well help replace in time the loss of the Mormon scouts the left the program. The Girls don't want to do the "Home-Ec" type programs a lot of the Girl Units do and want to do the high activity stuff.

The only thing that ever gets reported is the few "bad stories" but never the many good things that's going on in scouting.

The BSA will endure. They own a lot of property have a lot of benefactors with really deep pockets.

Yes. Once upon a time if your scout leader was caught messing with kids he’d be beaten within an inch of his life.

The scouts would survive if actual men got involved again. Remove the SJW shite and get the men back in.

I tried scouting with my son and the nerds running it were useless. My son didn’t want to get involved it was so nerdy.

I feel sorry for your children if you manage to have any because they will most certainly be raped. 100% of these abuse cases with Boy Scouts involve gay men dicking teenage boys. Most gay men had their sexuality “awakened” when they were very young by much older men. Gays are sexual abused as children at a much higher rate than the general population. The connection is undeniable without massive cognitive dissonance.

They weren't forced but when the LDS church pulled out with their 400,000 member to for their own program they had to do something to replace that many people.
