If needed to secure a uranium site
Which is a massive problem given what has been claimed. We can’t say that they claimed to have enough uranium to make 11 bombs and just let that go. It has to be secured. There’s only one way that happens.

Well that post was sad from the word go. First it starts out with brainless and lazy pigeonholing, and then suggests that the ultimate measuring stick is whether it’s a “W” or an “L” for the Trump administration…..not whether it’s appropriate or just or “moral” or in the best interest of our country. Nope, it boils down to a “W” or an “L” for the Trump administration. Pretty shallow thinking, particularly immediately after having speaking down to others of certain political leanings. Plus anyway, Trump isn’t running for President again, so why would he be beholden to perception of “W’s” or “L’s” in the first place??

We seem to be on the way to destroying their nuclear capacity
I guess this is my whole question about this engagement. We're being asked to believe that the nuclear threat still exists from the same people who told us that we had previously obliterated that very capability. So, we're pretty much along for the ride at this point.
I worked in government for a long time, so I've always rolled my eyes at the thought of government conspiracies, but its getting pretty hard to ignore the timing of all of this.

are you a military expert, what given your vast knowledge of military operations makes you think it's going to necessary to have to put boots on the ground.
You literally must have shite for brains if you think we can secure their uranium without personnel on the ground.

EDIT: I wish I understood the reason for the downvotes. Do the down voters believe we must have boots on the ground because the Iranian people can’t/won’t take over?
So you're good with Iran keeping 1,000 pounds of uranium. That's why you're getting downvoted.

quote:I've seen no discussion of this, not that I keep up with everything all of the time. Are there 1,000 pounds of uranium that we know of that we need to confiscate? Maybe we just continually bomb the frick out of them so they can't do anything with what they have? Boots on the ground, for any reason, is just a recipe for never-ending bullshite that we can't afford. So, unless you can make a better argument then I'll just accept my downvotes from those who support never-ending bullshite.

Trump isn’t running again, but MAGA as a political movement going forward has a lot to lose if Trump just proves to be another neocon Israel first puppet. Not that hard to understand.

Some American sons and daughters may die, but thats a sacrifice Israel is willing to make.

Now, for everyone else, probably not so much.

Oh, I see. Y’all believe our brave sons and daughters (of which I assume you and the others have no dog in that hunt anyway?) are not smart enough to have known what they were getting into and the various “hotspots” around the world where they could realistically potentially go to, and need us keyboard warriors to declare what’s what and what’s best for them?

I’d hate to be your son. Sounds like you’re perfectly ok with him going to fight Iranians for zionists that don’t give a frick about him.

I don’t guess you believe your son can think for himself and make decisions for himself, or I guess perhaps if he were to make his own decisions, such as joining the military, knowing full well that if he ever were to see any action it could easily be in the Middle East, apparently you’d have no respect for you son’s own adult decision.

Ahh the gloriousness of MIC incrementalism
Posted on 3/20/26 at 11:56 am to davyjones
This is a weird tangent you’re going off on, but as a father I would 100% discourage my adult child to go and die in a foreign country for neocon warmongers. Their life is worth more to me than Netanyahu’s geopolitical ambitions.

What if my son is a patriotic red blooded American who grew up hunting and fishing in the ozark mountains watching sec football and wanted to protect the things he holds dear, so he signs up to defend America and instead he goes and dies in a shite hole for a bunch of fricking Jews who believe his lord and savior is burning in pig shite.
