What is the reputation of the source? The source needs to be solid to get some of these die hard Libs to think critically.

It seems like the people/groups who would need to give credibility to this are the same ones who would be damaged by this gaining credibility.
Not specifically regarding the OP, but things as big as agw are so hard to refute for this very reason.

The facts should speak for themselve, irregardless of political motivations.

I will answer this with the statement that whatever is said in opposition of your beliefs won't matter. No matter the source, "charts", data, or scientific evaluation. This has become a political issue for Conservatives because your leadership wanted you to believe it.
Don't believe me? Research it yourselves.
So, since you won't research beyond your political safety zones, who fricking cares?
As usual, as someone who actually has taken numerous courses on the actual science instead of reading hack articles, I am out.

Meanwhile 2013 was the 4th hottest on record. How about reading stuff from actual climatologists guys?

Ever? When was the 1st, 2nd and 3rd?

I really haven't done much research on the subject, but from what I've read these guys have about as much credibility as me in the scientific community; they've had nothing published in any major scientific journals and haven't been peer-reviewed.
From the comments:
I would put these guys in the same boat as the creationism scientists who think all carbon-dating is a conspiracy and that the earth is only 6,000 years old.

I see — you think someone or something is stopping honest scientists from publishing alternative AGW evidence and thus preventing peer review – right?
Some mysterious group of people who have infiltrated all levels of scientific endeavor across all the countries of the world (even to the Vatican) — the “SSSSS” (Super Secret Society of Subverted Scientists). Shazaam thinks the NSA is behind it all. Personally, I think it is Lord Voldemort.

quote:No. It's quackery. You can't draw the conclusion he's claiming from anything provided. He'd need the actual raw data, or at least a sizable portion of it, which he doesn't even have. No BOOM!
Lays it out very well.

I love this shite. Doesn't have to be true, but will be remembered for years.
I guarantee most of the people in this thread believe that "climategate" was real. There were emails!!!

I need to buy stock in tin foil. What a pathetic group of people here willing to accept the most suspect of sources without a hint of skepticism as long as it supports what they want to believe.

So you are on record calling out Al Gore as not having enough evidence or his consensus narrative?

That confirmed they fudged the data. That's true.
And confirmed that, rather than combat the skeptics with the scientific method ( you know, with "science") they sought to continue their quasi-scientific political campaign by doing opposition research on McIntyre (the guy that proved the hockey stick was as full of $hit as a Christmas turkey) to smear him in the ever dutiful, ever compliant "press".
That is true also.
But go ahead and pretend there was nothing to Climategate - East Anglia's credibility was irreversibly damaged by all of this.

You mean we shouldn't accept a GW Denier blog citing a GW Denier's calculations of the world's leading scientists?
What's hilarious is the same people who continuously post threads about how the "mainstream media" including MSNBC, post shite from these clowns or jumped in this thread thumbs up!
Point out that they're jumping on a bullshite bandwagon and they just move on to another bullshite bandwagon, all the while accusing the MSM of being biased.

So you're a 3 per center as well Ace? Wow.
Is it the fact that you guys are from the South or Republican or both that you buck 97% of the scientists in this field?

In other news... a survey of Catholic priest revealed 99.8% of them believed in God. Thus, it is proven that God exists.
