Yeah, let's totally blow the investigation just to make a bunch of digital malcontents happy.

It's a very binary situation. We can have arrests and indictments that make folks feel good that something is happening, at the cost of actual convictions and sentencing...
Or you can have solid cases that take as long as they take and actually end up in convictions.
You cannot have both, and there's only one opportunity to get this right.

This makes no sense.

Arrests don't preclude further investigations. That's the flaw in your attempted argument above.
And the "cat is out of the bag" so to speak, so that's not an adequate response, either.

Sure you can.
*ETA: since you follow people who don't know what they're talking about, I'll give you some more free book learning: they can even amend indictments or add charges to indictments, if future evidence is found post-indictment.

and prosecuting them now has insane risks that would be terrible for Trump/MAGA
How so?

Imagine the PR/political disaster it would be for Trump to prosecute political enemies and fail. It plays directly into the "authoritarian" talking points.

Who gives a shite? How much of a coward do you have to be to abstain from doing the just or right thing because "you might fail"?

This would be true if they had not spent the last year arresting and sueing him for concocted stuff

Trump was prosecuted for things that could barely be called a crime.
Conspiring to bring fake states of electors in multiple states is “barely a crime”?
FYI he was charged but not prosecuted, only because the clock ran out. This was the most slam dunk case of any against him, and that is including the actual convictions.
Again, let’s see them actually build a case & bring some charges with defendants testifying before Congress. I would love to see it.

I imagine Trump and all other MAGA politicians (especially JD Vance and RDS) do...a great deal.

If you know a prosecution is illegal and will fail, how is engaging in that behavior "the right thing"?

I love this post from Bongino, but this is where I am.
Unless we see some major figures in cuffs, this rhetoric is the same it has always been. We will see.
Agreed. Nothing will ever happen. These people are all professional masters of loopholes in laws. I think they’ve learned how to get around every single law ever written over the years.
Any of those people that’s knee deep in DC knows someone that knows someone that knows someone to the point where there’s an avenue to walk away from anything they wanted to do.

You could've just showed us a picture of your NPR tote bag.
The alternate slate of electors was a necessary step following the precedent from the 1960 presidential election where Hawaii's EC votes were in question.

Maybe Chislain, (the caged bird), sang a tune that led to those dark web sites that were recently shut down.
Imagine what Bongino may have learned from that.

If the SOL has run, or if the Defendant is immune. 2 relevant possibilities.

They fricked it up in GA and AZ. That was the problem.
There's a reason why there were no prosecutions in PA for doing it properly.

But we are way beyond the point of reports and “the truth will be exposed.”
For sure. This was one thing while he was on the outside as a podcaster, but he's still trying to breadcrumbs everyone after all the binders propaganda.

He must have seen evidence that liberals are actually an alien species planted on earth to cause chaos and destruction.
