I don't think Trump officially endorse Bolsonaro. I think Trump was friendly with Flavio's father who lost an election and is now in a Brazilian prison. Trump was caught on the tarmac yesterday saying the election appears to be rigged.

If I recall, Trump endorsed Flavio's father for president of Brazil. Jair Bolsonaro lost and he's now serving a 27 year prison sentence for allegedly attempting to stage a coup. It appears you don't want to lose an election in Brazil, that's probably why Lula was literally on video crying to have the polls reopened for an additional 2 hours to ensure a victory.
