BREAKING: Human remains belonging to a lab employee have been found in the Carson National Forest in New Mexico.

Investigators say a gun was found near the remains of Melissa Casias, who worked at the Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Casias was last seen alive on June 26, 2025.

Casias' husband, Mark, says she dropped him off at the lab where they were both employed on the day she disappeared.

Melissa told her husband that she was working at another location within the lab that day. Mark says he later received a call from his wife's supervisor, who said she never showed up for work.

Casias reportedly ended up working from home that day. Around midday, she dropped lunch off for her daughter.

The couple's daughter says she later found her mom's belongings, including her phone, which was reset to factory settings, at their home.

A family friend claims to have seen Melissa walking on State Road 518.

Former FBI Assistant Director Chris Swecker says Melissa Casias may have been a target for a potential abduction, according to the Daily Mail.

"In a classified lab, or just a high clearance lab, they would basically be in the know on what's going on. And it wouldn't be the first time their administrative assistant has been targeted," he said.

She worked on advanced propulsion

I feel like these Scientists' disappearances & deaths have got to be the work of some group of delusional anti-capitalist / enviro nut jobs. Someone who is mimicking Ted Kaczinsky with his "modern industrial" hit list of gene scientists, aviation execs, defense contractors., network designers etc.

Bigfoot took her as revenge for his creation during the nuclear tests.

Her case is one of roughly a dozen recent high-profile deaths or disappearances involving U.S. scientists and government personnel tied to space, defense, and nuclear research.

This story about all these missing and dead scientists is one of the most weird and bizarre stories I think I have ever heard.

I love how they call her a 'scientist' but after digging more, I find she was an 'executive assistant'.

Those are not the same picture, in most cases.

If they're working on advanced anti gravity drive propulsion systems or whatever that would be in the interest of the enviro nuts though...

Sounds like the husband could be a suspect. Nothing in that story confirmed anyone actually SAW her last other than the husband.

So like Obama's chef, she overheard something she wasn't supposed to hear, and obviously she is an expendable human to them.

There is a clear pattern to these disappearances. Nearly all of them left their phones behind and their phones were wiped clean or factory reset. It isn't her husband unless her husband is killing all of them.

And this isn't even true. She dropped her husband off in the morning and then took her daughter lunch at noon. And then she was later reported to have been seen walking down the road.

Why do people always seem sorta desperate to find a way to write this kind of shite off as nothing?

No the daughter saw her last. I am sure they can check weather the husband was at work at that time.

I think it is Iran getting revenge for all their scientists Mossad killed.

Ever been to Los Alamos? It's a really a small, very isolated community, kind of like going back to Mayberry with a small amount of modernization.

Oh, and a nuclear lab, plus other stuff that remains classified. Regular Barney Fifes types everywhere except they're all physicists.

Whatever is going on isn't confined to Los Alamos.

dropped off lunch for her daughter - I assume either the daughter or someone received it from her.

Friend claims they saw her walking down a highway.

True. The former commander for AFRL at Kirtland AFB and a physicists from Sandia National Labs, both in Albuquerque, have gone missing.

It all started happening on the heels of Trump ordering the DoD to begin declassifying it's UFO/UAP files. All of them worked in advanced propulsion or advanced alloy research. Or in this case was an administrator of said programs. I think it should be imperative that they release the files as quickly as possible so whoever is behind this shite doesn't have any more incentive to be killing top scientists. Not only that, but dragging their feet on an executive mandate such as this is unacceptable to begin with. We can't keep living in a country where the intelligence community feels it has the authority to override the POTUS.
