Never once did he mention the Devil in that clip.

Check this link out.

Bob Dylan converts to Evangelical Christianity and then back to Judaism

You don't know Bob Dylan.

Fantastic lyrics, not his best work musically.

Not sure about the Bob Dylan song.

But on the subject of Kennedy: how ridiculous is it that the Secret Service allowed for a sitting president to ride around in an open top convertible like a homecoming queen across an entire major city in a procession the public knew well in advance was happening?

Just a wild breakdown by Secret Service. Especially considering in 63 that they were only 50 or 60 years removed from McKinley and Teddy Roosevelt being shot?

I love it. What a great poem. A LITTLE hard to know whether the fact that it’s Dylan makes it a great poem, but that is some very rich language and imagery and references.

Feels like this would have had a bigger impact oh I don’t know, 40-50 years ago.

November 22, '63 was a sad day.

It opened my young eyes. I remember it well.

The way he used some references that might be obscure to some people, reminds me a bit of Don McClean's American Pie, not like a copy or anything. I think it's more about how that time affected him, and the way it made him think, and jaded him.

This is Bob Dylan's Swan Song. He really cares about this Country. I have been lucky enough to get to just talk to him for a little while.
He is trying to tell us, that they have kept us entertained, while they do the unspeakable behind our backs.
You were watching Gilligans Island and checking out Marianne's tits, while the power hungry got their way in government.
They have even upped the game.

All those former hippies claim Dylan is a fake, a total empty fraud.

Like Joan Baez and Joni Mitchell.

And then there are people who claim he stole his first biggest hits...those songs that we all know like Blowin' in the Wind and that he never wrote them.

not sure what your inexplicable beef with Bob Dylan is, but he dated Joan Baez so i would take anything she said with a grain of salt. Also I don't think anyone has ever alleged that Dylan plagiarized his best work -highway 61 revisited, blood on the tracks, etc. That was all his ingenuity. Third and last, Dylan has always been a political and social chameleon and is a lot more conservative than the average ignorant qtard might think.

All that said, this song sounds fricking awful

That song sucked.

And not that I live by the gospel of Joni Mitchell (great songs though) but she says Bob Dylan is the biggest phony who ever lived. (she likes hyperbole...listen to her songs.)
