I know he’s got a lot of $$, but I think if he gets the nom Trump wins easily.
1. Because they’d have stolen it from Bernie and his supporters will be pissed and either stay home or vote Trump
2. Bloomberg has no platform or movement and turnout would crater for Dems

3. Only downside is he likely puts billions into down ballot races in the senate and House that could make those races harder

But money, bruh.

Money.

It’s the biggest thing Hillary had, too.

And the womenfolk who so many people opine are at-risk swing voters that many may find Trump off-putting, even if that's true, Bloomberg doesn't appear to be a better alternative in that regard given recent revelations about his unsettling treatment of the fairer sex.

He is not there weakest. There are a number of extremely weak candidates in the running.

All they want to do is hang on and cause a brokered convention because then they get to trade their delegates to someone else for a nice money spot in their cabinet.

Who is the weakest? It really depends how you define weakest.

Weakest in the primary or weakest in a general election against trump.

These can be very different things.

Bernie may be one of the tougher candidates in the primary yet in a general election he could cause a massive Democratic collapse.

You have to be more specific.

Funny how politics works. The party not in power always seems to have a weak field of candidates. Democrats in 2004, Republicans in 2012, Democrats in 2020.

It’s no wonder how Presidents are now in office for two terms since ‘92.

I thought Gabbard was going to be one of their stronger candidates. Surprised how she never got any traction.

I’m hoping Bernie is the candidate, he would get skull dragged in an election. Bloomberg is a weak candidate, but he can literally buy/pay off any democrat politician for an endorsement without really affecting his net worth.

Mine was only a gratuitous add-on comment. But it is an interesting proposition, however I do find it difficult to rank him weaker than Yang, Steyer, even Biden perhaps. I believe Sanders is the strongest Dem candidate now, and would be the strongest Dem candidate in the general, IMO. Similar to Trump, he's got an energetic movement that seems to be gaining steam, if anything.

The strongest Dem candidate (at this point) is a communist. Dems are the worst.

Still waiting to see some real frickery at their convention. Hillary has both shoes ready.

I admit that I have not paid attention to the candidates' positions, so I have a question.

What distinguishes Klobuchar from the others? How is she still around?

I don't think so. I think he would be their best chance actually. I think he would still fall short, but he has two major advantages over the rest of the Democrats in the field.

1) money. The entire DNC is teetering on the edge of insolvency and Bloomberg is the only candidate they have that can match Trump in spending.

2) economics. The economy is going to be Trump's wheelhouse. Bloomberg can at least stand on a debate stage and actually challenge Trump in the realm of economics.

However, despite those two things, the likelihood of Bloomberg actually gaining the nomination are slim to none. He simply is too much like Trump in his personality to gain any traction among a group of people who are diametrically opposed to chauvanism.

Like Tulsi Gabbard, Bloomberg makes too much sense for the Democrats to consider.

I don’t know if he’s the weakest candidate, but he’s definitely the weakest communicator. By a lot. And since that’s Trump’s greatest strength, it’s definitely not a good matchup for the dems.

I had thought previously that Klobuchar isn't too bad an option for the Democrats but she destroyed that possibility by suffering a breakdown on the debate stage.

It sucks, but as a woman you simply cannot show weakness like that. She is dead in the water because as Commander in Chief you simply cannot be perceived as weak.

She would be destroyed in the debates by Trump. And the same goes for Warren.

If you're going to run as a woman, you must project strength. Tulsi Gabbard had a real shot, IMO. But for whatever reason the Democrats wouldn't consider it.

shes been a spokesperson for the moderate left on nbc for years.

weve only had one caucus and one primary. as biden plummets his moderates seek safe haven. she has better national numbers now than at any time.
trending matters.

its reported that the billionaires boys club is sitting out for now. so unless biden fails utterly and immediately she cant fundraise. the moderate lane is full.

patience tigerCoon.

many posit that all will hang on to convention so as to prevent bernie from majority.

after super tuesday it would be logical for both klobuchar and warren to quit unless they win some miracle state or two. if they stay in anyway they will be criticized roundly.

after super tuesday she will pack up.

He's not as weak as Amy Klobuchar. She lost her marbles over a mild rebuke from Butt Boy. Just imagine her melt if they were all attacking her.

If Pocahontas had done the same thing to Amy Klobuchar that she did to Bloomberg, little Amy would've needed medical attention.

Unfortunately too many people could see right through Hillary Clinton.

Worst Presidential Candidate I've ever seen.

Not only is she transparently corrupt, she is lazy and feels entitled. She was arrogant enough to think she could totally avoid campaigning in key states and those people would vote for her anyways because of who she is.

Hillary Clinton will go down in history as perhaps the worst politician in our nation's history. In fact, history may prove that she didn't even legitimately win the popular vote. I firmly believe they cheated that election and still lost.

Democrats worship people with money as long as they wear a D behind their name.
