After all of these responses, I've realized I misspoke...
Yes, the white liberal arts colleges would've definitely acted the same way to white girls wearing maga hats.
I was making the assumption you meant black students wearing Obama gear at those colleges and receiving the same response and the admins backing them up.
Stupid mistake on my part.
Edit: I should've been more specific in my original post.

Like I said, I know if I go to a rural area that is occupied by whites wearing a BLM shirt I will definitely find myself in some real trouble
Maybe. You'd probably just get a few dirty looks. This ain't 1960 Mississippi.

You could walk down my street right now and the highlight of your evening MIGHT be noticing someone commenting to the person next to them and you figuring it must be about your BLM shirt. It might be too. But, you wouldn't hear it.
be honest
someone would post about the black man walking down the street on the neighborhood FB page

I'm very sure. I'm just not going to explain it again every time someone new shows up.

Fair enough and the answer is.......there's no university where what happened at Howard would be repeated in a situation as you just described.

When rhetorical questions without the correct specifics go bad.
I realised how bad I fricked that one up on the first response.

"Change" and "hope" shirts can be seen at all those campuses without a care in the world

We were talking about colleges. Duh
Trust me. I'm with you and mmgrath on this.
A white person absolutely SHOULD expect that if they wear a Maga hat to a place that is almost totally black, they'll get shite for it.
I dont think the random black guy on the street cares what you have on your head.
I am about as conservative as you can get.
