Anyone else see it? It was a seemingly endless parade of honking horns and shouts of "Black Lives Matter." I finally went outside to look at the parade on Peachtree and I saw a huge BLM flag being waved from an SUV, a guy playing a trombone walking and playing alongside the cars in the parade, and the two people I saw in it were White.

I shouted 13/54 after getting a bird for my thumbs down! But I don't imagine they know what that stat means.

Blacks are only 13% of the nation but commit 54% of the homicide.

That's a protest/parade, not a riot. Nothing burned. No one was shot. Officers weren't deployed. And nothing was damaged.

So whats the problem?

Aside from being noisy, and thus annoying, it is better than a riot of course. But the very fact that people still think Blacks are being hunted down by Whites is a huge problem, not just for Whites, but for the psychological health of all young people. It will have very serious negative consequences. Whites are now even more of a target due to the gas lit resentment and anger.

I hear ya. And I completely disagree with their philosophy and premise. But considering what's happening in other areas, if they are within the law in what they are doing, frick it. Let them be.

Close down the Lennox Marta station and close the Buckhead exit off 400 and you'll
eliminate 90% of the crime in Buckhead

It’s minute by minute we know, but are we in a “pandemic” or not? Can Atlanta do as they please when they please or are there “restrictions” on public gatherings?

Even that, is misleading.

Almost 95% of black homicide is committed by 17-30 age black men. Black men equal 6% of the black population. 17-30 age black men is roughly half of the black male population.

Therefore, it's actually about 3.5-4% of the American population that is responsible for well over 50% of homicides and nearly 70% of all violent crime. And the overwhelming majority of blacks murdered, are killed by black men aged 17-30.

But black lives matter n shite.

Democratic strongholds have fostered the environment for these behaviors which have effectively been population control of the black community for the past 50 years...

But keep on voting Democrat, black Americans.

I was at Tech when that opened, and the impact on Lennox mall was overnight. Coming from a non-metro area, it was fascinating to watch the evolution of the situation.

No doubt it made an impact in that mall area but the 400 exit was even worse.
The Buckhead nightlife turned into a war zone.Shootings, fights and robberies became
common place within a couple of years.

It was already a little crazy and you'd see big crowds and a occasional fight but nothing like what it turned in to.

Yeah, all that happened after I graduated and left. It was bizarre coming back to Atlanta for a visit the first few times, still thinking Buckhead was where yuppies went to barhop. Nope, not any more.
