Blacks unhappy about the 1.2 million reparations recommended in Cali - demand 200mil

California’s reparations task force approved recommendations which could give black residents $1.2million each as compensation for slavery and discrimination
But activists believe it is 'nowhere near enough' and demanded $200million as some called it a 'further injustice' and others called for direct cash payments
Previous calculations from economists predicted the reparations could cost around $800billion- more than twice California’s $300 billion annual budget
LINK
The report suggests that the amounts, based on what has been lost to specific types of racial discrimination, should be paid back to black residents.
This includes $2,352 lost per person per year for the over-policing and mass incarceration of black communities and $3,366 per person per year of residence between 1933 and 1977 for 'discriminatory lending and zoning'.
And $13,619 per person per year of residence in California for 'injustices and discrimination in health' and $77,000 per person for black-owned business losses and devaluations is included in the figure.
This means a lifelong black California resident aged at least 71 could receive more than $1.2million in compensation.
Basically they are getting rewarded in part for being criminals

How much of this are Western African nations going to pay? You know, the one who were the sellers.

Give them absolutely zero reparations. Doing so begins to solve at least part of the problem.

You know, the hell with it. Let the People’s Republic of Kalifornia go ahead and burn itself down to the ground.
I feel awful for the normal people left in that one-time jewel of America gone rotten (yes, I used the term “normal”) but maybe the best example long-term is letting the communists running that state make an example of themselves.
And no, they won’t be the ones who “did it right” this time (unlike everywhere else in history).

Part of me hopes California passes this legislation just to watch the whole state go up in smoke, but the problem is it will just make more Californians move to where I am.

Why not 2 billion...?
They should also kiss their feet...
Thing that's so hilarious is California wasn't even a slave state...

They already got trillions from 'Great Society' legislation.

There’s not one black person in this country that’s ever been, or known a slave. They are given everything from the government every time they open their mouth and don’t have to do a damn thing in return for it. Hell they’re not even African, not a damn one of them that’s here was born there, they don’t know a soul there. If they want something from anyone then they should pack there damn bags and go to Africa can have them fork over everything they are wanting, there on so called people sold them to start with.

I identify as an African American, born and raised in California, descended from slaves

Imagine the number of tax evasion prosecutions that would come from this.

And how much will they demand when the reparations run out?

Exactly. There will never be anything or any amount of money that “squares it all up”.
You can give every person (who never actually lived as a slave) half a billion or even a billion a piece….and within 5 years tops the hustlers will be back demanding more.
The shakedown will never end.

Reparations, moral decay, illegal immigration, corrupt politicians, disease, pedophilia, war machine, printing money, crime, gender dysphoria, public education, racism, corrupt pharmaceutical companies, etc., etc., etc. All shiny objects that catch our eye.
We will each be extremely passionate about at least one but may shrug off others as no big deal. We are masterfully preoccupied while they shuffle us into line for the returning serfdoms.
Liberty and prosperity for the masses has worn out its short welcome. It was nice while it lasted.

I support this with one caveat - no California residents can leave California.
Let them fail. Let them provide 1.2 million per resident and see nothing change.

If out ancestors pick their own cotton our cities would be much safer, wal-marts would be in Chicago but more importantly they would be happy living in mud huts in Africa
