I lived in Tulsa from 1991-2001. The cops back then called North Tulsa, "Little Beirut" and claimed it actually was more dangerous and more violent than Lebanon.
Local TV in coordination with City Hall and the Chamber of Commerce refused to cover N. Tulsa at all unless it involved some kind of real development (usually involving FedGov $ and contracts). Actual coverage of conditions was deemed too damning and discouraging for progress to be made.

I was talking to a guy, who works for LRPD, about the crime issue in Little Rock and he said this younger generation has no respect for human life. In the past the people out stealing and robbing people usually had some respect for the life of the person they were robbing but now they just find it easier to shoot their victim and be done with it.
The dems will eventually pay for the monster they have created in the impoverished areas.
