What point do you think you're making? How does this fantasy impact reality?

What systemic oppression is still happening today?

Shut the frick up you crazy girl. Damn I try not to respond to you but you and people like you are the biggest enablers in the victim hood identity of black people. The culture needs fixing and people who are being objective can see the truth very easily.
Why have every other race been able to build themselves up and be productive members while black people overwhelmingly don’t?
I came from nothing and made a damn good life and the first thing I did when I accomplished that was to get away from the ghetto trash. If you haven’t figured it yet I’m black. So shut the frick ip and stay in your lane. No one is asking for your help because you have zero objectivity and it’s all emotional mind warped bullshite

Beautiful takedown and never got a response.

Again, why do we give this person so much attention after it is clear they cannot make a valid argument? Give up and move on to another topic and watch them derail another thread.

I pay reparations every year - it's called property taxes and income taxes. Both are too high due to social programs aimed at fixing or protecting us (police) from one group of people.

Black Americans are nearly 3x more likely to be killed by police than white Americans.

Racial profiling and stop-and-frisk tactics continue to disproportionately target POC.

Black people receive harsher sentences than white people for the same crimes.

For drug offenses, despite similar usage rates, black Americans are more likely to be arrested and imprisoned.

Public schools are still funded largely by local property taxes, which means whiter, wealthier neighborhoods have better schools.

Predominantly black school districts receive about $2,200 less per student than predominantly white districts.

Formerly redlined neighborhoods still suffer from disinvestment, environmental hazards, and poor services.

The racial wealth gap has barely changed since the 1960s and is rooted in generations of denied access to housing, loans, education, and job opportunities.

Employment discrimination is still rampant today. A white person with a felony conviction is more likely to be hired for a job than a black person with a clean record (read Markey by Devah Pager)

Black Americans have higher mortality rates, worse outcomes in maternal health, and face disparities in diagnosis and treatment for everything from pain to cancer.

Black women are 3-4 times more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes than white women.

In the terms you're referencing, it ended two generations ago.

Unfortunately, in some instances, now the same shoe seems to be on a different foot.

you expect me to reply to someone who says "shut the frick up you crazy girl?"

I hope you don't have daughters. You obviously don't respect women.

ETA: or think they should respect themselves.

The black community is worse off today than they were 50 years ago. That's 50 years of your white savior programs, trillions of dollars, and you've only managed to make things worse. How do you rationalize that?

Black Americans are about 2.5-3 times more likely to be killed by police and roughly 6-7 times more likely to commit murder. Seems like non-Blacks are on the losing end of that paradigm, doesn't it?

Why? What is the date anti-semitism started on liberal campuses. What is the date anti-Asian measures were undertaken in US collegiate acceptance. All of these are a sequential process.

Does he sit in the corner chair or do you?

BTW.. just bringing this back for ya:
quote:

quote: Nah. You just are trying every cliched non-argument to dismiss ideas that you’re not familiar with.

Reply: Why do you keep saying that handing the minority community tons of money are “ideas that you’re not familiar with”? That has been happening for decades upon decades and the black population is getting worse and worse off each decade. Your so called “ideas” are absolutely nothing new.

quote: A reasonable person would ask questions in that situation.

We do ask questions. A lot of questions. Can’t get them answered though. Why does the black community belittle themselves by calling each other N***a? Why are black students harassed and made fun of as “acting white” when they want to learn in school? Why does the black community slaughter each other over “dizrespeckt”? Why are there schools in Baltimore, MD that have half the students below a 0.50 GPA? Why is it forgivable as a country to have large swaths of cities looted and burned to ashes? Why is it ok for the black population to publicly threaten other races but not the opposite? If black lives matter… what’s all the shooting about?

Why is it perfectly ok to publicly attack Dr. Ben Carson but it’s racist to publicly attack Barack or Michelle Obama?

Why did the Mississippi government have to give hundreds of thousands to Jackson, MS, after Jackson MS got a previous large settlement over the water system from a public company, to turn their water back on when every other water system in the state is running fine?

See we ask questions. Valid questions. Just never get good answers.

quote: It doesn’t seem like you’re interested in understanding any argument that doesn’t align with what you’ve heard other people say ad nauseum.

Reply: Oh the raining of irony. You are the typical leftist white savior. “You know someone needs to do something about that!” You are the epitome of the Martha’s Vineyard mindset. It’s a great cause till you are faced with it… then you give em pittance and send them on their way. You keep babbling about your ideas and your concern while insulating yourself from it. It’s always someone else that needs to do something. We know you better than you know yourselves.

quote: Why do you keep trying to make this thread about BLM?

Reply: If you really need help understanding… I dunno.. you may need to call someone to help you. They may can walk you through it. Let me dumb it down for you the absolute best I can. If it doesn’t work.. ask for help with it.

BLM movement = giving the black community billions of dollars. Billions of dollars should have = community investment. Billions of dollars should have = black student loans paid, black scholarships, black community revitalization, etc. Billions of dollars instead of = fraud, lavish spending, waste, abuse. BLM now = bankrupt.

Reparations and “your ideas” = giving the black community billions (if not trillions) of dollars. Now you finish!
