Billionaire investor Tom Steyer, who in the last decade has been both the top Democratic donor in the country and the prime engine for pushing for the impeachment of President Donald Trump, appears ready to become Democratic candidate number 26. Last week in San Francisco, Steyer told staffers at two progressive organizations he funds, Need to Impeach and NextGen America, that he is launching a 2020 campaign, and that he plans to make the formal announcement this Tuesday.

Trump isn’t president because he’s a billionaire. He’s president because he knows how to market himself.
He created the Trump image, crated many companies including a show on NBC, and has been in the public for over 30 years.
Becoming a Us Rep, Senator, governor is incredibly hard and takes years of networking and publicity. Once you get to that level, you brand yourself on a national level to run for president.
In the time it took to write this reply, I’ve already forgotten this guys name.

I wonder if he’s going to run as an Independent, thinking this means he will steal some votes from Trump.
He has been such a nutbag over Trump that he seems really scared about something. I would not be surprised if he’s got some serious skeletons in his closet and he’s terrified that Trump being President will somehow uncover them. Like maybe he’s done something through the Clinton Foundation and he fears Trump is going to have the DOJ investigate his connections.
It’s just a strangely extreme amount of TDS, and now maybe trying to become a candidate is even more weird because it’s absurdly futile and stupid.
