Have you tried other billboard companies? I posted a link to one on the top of one of the last few pages . They must not post any politicians ads if our idea bothers them .

Tell Lamar to cancel the order and you will take your business elsewhere. Let them know that a very popular website with a lot of connections in Louisiana and throughout the country is aware of what Lamar is doing and is not happy.

Louisiana Republicans Censured Bill Cassidy for betraying his constituents

Outsider “Republicans” praise him for it.

Not thrilled about this. This one was pretty tame compared to others.

They didn’t suggest edits for the pro-Cassidy one. I would push back on this.

Did the pro-Cassidy billboard have to make such fine distinctions?

Yeah. He didn’t “uphold the Constitution.” That’s bullshite and they didn’t call that group on it.

Could be a good discrimination lawsuit for some of our lawyers here to file. Lamar may have to give us a lot of billboards free of charge at the end of this.

The day he voted to convict, I sent him an email that simply said “You are a slimy cocksucker.” Today, I got the stock reply from his office. frick this guy.

I’ve stayed mostly out of discussion but let’s see if my Parler post with tags to this thread helps anything. Probably not but ehh. It’s worth a shot

The suggestion that he somehow upheld the constitution by voting in favor of a show trial, with no evidentiary standards against a private citizen is appalling to me on every level

If you do ditch Lamar, then make sure you tell them we need a platform, not a publisher and we'll be sure to let people know Lamar is the latter.

@blueboxer

Ask him if their candy arse legal team applies that same standard to EVERY ad.

Does EVERY citizen agree with EVERY ad?

Bamarep thinks not.

Suggestion: Call Bayou Signs Outdoors. They are putting up billboards in the Baton Rouge area, and may be a little more objective...

They are wanting us to slightly tweak the message. Because some Louisianans agree with his vote, we would need to change to something like "to betray a majority of the people of Louisiana".

How many Louisianans agree with Gordon McKerkan being a sleazy lawyer? Yet somehow he has 500 billboards all over town.

Funny how that works. I wasn’t aware that everyone had to agree on something to put up a billboard.

Change the wording to "Betrayed Louisiana Republicans", point to the censure as proof.
