So I don't watch the show, but saw this clip on FoxNews.com

LINK

"I’m nervous about saying anything against Biden, because I feel as though - not that I have so much power, and you have some more than I do, obviously - but are you afraid that you might, you know, influence the people who are on the fence?" co-host Joy Behar asked Maher.

"I think you lose all credibility," Maher replied. "I do. My bond with my audience has always been I don’t pull a punch. My bond with my audience is you’re not going to like everything I say but you know I’m saying what I really think is true."

So she she effectively acknowledges that the reason Maher has more influence than she does because he's more honest with his audience. Interesting.

Usually I have a pretty high Bill Maher tolerance level and sometimes he is right on the money but I tried to listen to Megan Kelly's podcast that he was on and I had to bail within five minutes. He was TDS squared and was basically calling Kelly a stupid count because she told him she was voting for Trump and not Biden.

The wife and I actually watched him on Gutfeld. He stated that he is "old school" liberal. He's not "woke". Some of the things that he said, we could actually agree with, which is odd. He's definitely not a Trump fan, but he wasn't afraid to call out Biden. It was a very interesting Gutfeld segment and I do applaud him for not being afraid to go on the show. He said that that they need more discussions like that to discuss differences. He was actually funny when he talked about transgenders. I'm paraphasing, but he said that there are some that there is some sort of mix up when they are born, but he said that he thinks that the rest seem to be a Tik Tok video challenge that went wrong. lol.

He wanted Americans to suffer so it would hurt Trump and now people on the right can't stop washing his nuts. He should have been discarded long ago.

I was actually very surprised at how little Maher knew about what actually happened on J6, and the cases against Trump.

Megyn was hammering him with actual facts and Maher accused her of parroting right wing talking points, and usually ended topics with, “if that’s what you think then ‘ok.’”

He was actually very dismissive of her. He has no tolerance for Trump because he’s an election denier (which Megyn didn’t offer much defense of Trump there). He said it’s the most existential threat and reason people need to vote for Biden.

Megyn countered with the very many democrats, including Hillary, who spent years calling Trump an illegitimate president and Maher dismissed it all. Another “if that’s what you think” dismount from the topic.

Megyn said she can’t support Biden because, among other serious issues like crime, southern border, she doesn’t want her daughter going into the women’s locker room and seeing a penis (her actual words) and Maher agreed with her but then accused Megyn of seeing an elephant and a mouse and not being able to tell which is bigger (again saying Trump’s election denial is more grave than anything Biden has done).

I made it about halfway through. Maher came off unprepared, completely eaten up with TDS, espoused completely hypocritical POVs on important topics, and treated Megyn like an idiot who was out of her depth on everything when she was hammering him with facts and he had none himself to offer.

Maher may offer a good sound bite here and there, but he offers nothing much but TDS beyond that. He displayed much less knowledge on important matters than I expected which was shocking honestly.

It still blows my mind that anyone watches that show much less gives it any serious thought. The women watching that crap are brain dead.

Maher lives in his bubble.

He will make a jab at Biden.
But he never has to face realities (Jan 6/good people on both sides/unreasonable prosecution of trump) because his bubble does not care about facts more than they care about feeling good. The facts get in the way of that, so Maher comes off unprepared when he has left that bubble.

Yeah... I agree. Maher likes to portray himself as one of the smartest people in the room but is only masking his 'I don't care if there is a body in basement' love for the DNC.

Megan Kelly's podcast, Gutfeld and now the view... Maher's ratings must be hurting.

I do not understand why people act this way toward Maher….its like they think he will eventually get red pilled or tossed a coat. That will never happen.

What I find most irritating about Maher is the “I’m smarter and more enlightened than you” attitude. He’s not and Megyn ate his lunch.

And no, he will never get red pilled.

Megyn started the podcast talking about how she and Maher probably agree with each other on a lot. After about 10 minutes and treating her like a babbling idiot, Maher said they don’t agree on much.

Once she pretty effectively and easily dismantled whatever counter points he had (wasn’t many) she agreed that no they aren’t on the same page at all.

Even "based" Bill Maher is controlled opposition to placate folks in the middle. His idea of compromise would ultimately be something like encouraging moderates to vote for RFK Jr.

We don't need his permission to have been right all along in not trusting the "vaccine", the official narrative on where the "pandemic" started or more importantly the WHY.

It's all to keep folks from waking up to the reality that our politicians will do anything they can to stay in power, and they'll gladly kill us if that's what keeps their ticket punched.

No she didn’t. What an absurd conclusion. She does not say why she thinks Maher has more power, but a reasonable person can conclude that it is due to audience size plus him being the only host for his audience.

She went further than that and said that Biden was obviously intelligent, which you know that Bill had to bite his tongue and not call her a fricking liar there.
