A democrat by any other name still smells the same. The reason neocons are worse than democrats is because neocons REPLACE the conservative option, while at the same time ruining the image of the party.

Yes, or write someone in. And I would vote for Newsom over Vance if forced to pick between them.
See, if a neocon wins, then it's a minimum of 8 years before a conservative can win again, typically 12. You'll have a neocon for 4 years in office, then they'll run again and win or lose there is no conservative option. That's 8 years. Now after 8 a conservative could win, however typically the reputation of the republicans is so bad it's another 4 minimum.
However, if Newsom wins, the neocon platform is once again properly rejected and we have a chance at a conservative option in 4 years.
So am I going to vote for another 12 years minimum for liberals to run the country as the uniparty, or do I give it 4 years with a chance for a conservative and a conservative party like last year that at least pretends to support the right things.
I'll take the 4 years. Last time it took 16 years to get another option.
