He has little choice here I think if he wants to keep his job. But it's still kinda cowardly. He cites the Capitol protest as his reason.

Damn, cancel culture done robbed him of such a wonderful, once in a lifetime honor. Dude had to make a business decision on that, and probably family concerns as well.
