Its like you progressives don't pay attention.
Start with the public hearing the DHS secretary did last year.
She lays out "the wall". "The wall" is just pissing you off because Trump.
"The wall" actually isnt just a wall. The wall isn't 2000k miles. A whole host of other security measures were discussed.
Do yourself a favor and go watch her testimony. She laid it all out there.

Thank you for the effort and time you put into your post to attempt to explain something that seems elementary to Trump voters like myself.
Sometimes the government tries too hard to do all this comprehensive planning on very complicated problems.
My thinking is at least stop the leak.
That's step #1. Build a barrier and check that box off.
Step 2, deal with DACA and expired Visas

How about a law not to hire and 100% tax on remittances that go outside the states from the western unions of the world. No tax of remittances globally if run through payroll.

1. I’m not your friend.
2. Overall national votes in a congressional election mean absolute dick. You sound as stupid as the people who say “more people nationwide voted for the 47 Dem Senators than for the 53 GOP Senators”. That’s nice. It’s not how our system works.

I don’t think there is any misconception at all. We have dozens of democrats at record calling for a wall, supporting a wall and voting for a wall and their reasons have always been based in the fact that illegal immigration is illegal, it’s unfair to those waiting in line legally and it’s unsustainable.
These are facts, video exists, audio exists and recorded votes exist. Please take you “misconception” non sense and shove it. Dems have benefited greatly from illegal immigration in all parts of the country. Btw, California, was a republican stronghold for decades until Ronald Regean of all people went along with an amnesty plan and Dems failed to deliver a secure border in return. With a stroke of a pen, Repubs lost California forever in less than a decade. Now Dems seek to repeat California all over again in places like Texas, AZ, GA, and FL. Once it’s done, it’s over for repubs and any shot of ever controlling the executive branch again. Both sides know it.
