He was told he had to run for Senate. I suspect the GOPe threw in the gun brandishing lawyer whose name I refuse to learn as a nominee to siphon off Greitens votes. By this I mean, the party strategy was to try to get as many name-recognition folks in the race to divvy up all the votes.

They didn’t foresee Schmitt making hay with Covid shutdowns and school curriculums to leap to the front of the pack.

I’m convinced most people vote based on signs and tv ads. When they fill out the ballot, the first name that comes to mind is who they vote for.

That isn’t going to change, it’s hopeless.
