Good Eric everywhere else but this board, which supports Greitens because they want to watch the world burn

I dunno, if pro-life can't win in KS, then where is it going to be a political winner?
I just don't see the value in continuing down that road, esp when this kind of result is staring us in the face. Clearly there are better issues to run on.
It's even like 55-45 in Hays, KS. Not good.

Kansas is less reliably conservative than a lot of places.

Maybe, I thought the campaign was pretty messy. I'm not one who thinks abortion should be put to the side, though. Need to keep pushing. I'm more concerned about this being a "win" for the pro-abortion crowd than I am the actual amendment.

I don't think it's going to hold based on what I'm seeing on Twitter. Bummer if not.

Decision Desk HQ projects the "Value Them Both Amendment" will not pass in Kansas.
Race call: 9:47pm EDT
Confusing
In Kansas, the “Value them Both” amendment, which would allow the legislature to restrict abortion law, has failed

The wording was "Should the Kansas constitution be amended to remove protections of abortion rights?"
A vote of "no" declares that there is an absolute right to 2nd, 3rd, and 4th trimester abortions with no limits whatsoever, and that the legislature is powerless to change that.
There is no way that a majority support that extreme position. They were tricked by the wording (and most people aren't good at logic).

The western and southern cities have the businesses and industries bringing in many of the elites, and the Flagstaff area climate is attracting liberal elite retirees and young hyper-progs.
The more remote communities of heavily conservative folk don't stand a chance. It's a numbers game, and the libs are winning.
And North Carolina.

Honestly this wasn’t presented well from either end. I’m not surprised it failed. It’s sad and frustrating but not surprised.

Greitens never had a chance. Dude couldn’t tamp down his past adulterous sexual behavior and weak azz resignation after winning the governorship.
