One should question will the state of the union speech actually be `live` in real-time or was it recorded and edited prior to tonight.

If he is appearing before both houses of Congress, it is definitely a live appearance.
If the words don’t match his lip movements, which is a distinct possibility if they try to Milli Vanilli this, it won’t go well.

There should be betting lines for over/under on the amount of time in the speech -minus the flying monkey applause.
I'd be surprised if it goes much longer than 30 minutes.
Regarding flying monkey applause, I predict that the speech will be broken down into very small bites with the flying monkeys rehearsed to clap hands at a whole bunch of breaks.
This will accomplish two things beyond the phony impression that Jalopy Joe is thrilling the crowd:
1) It will make his speech appear to be longer than it really is.
2) It will give the addled geezer time to regroup for the next teleprompt snippet.
In any case, I think it will be pretty near a miracle if he doesn't foul up in an obvious manner.
Again, for the degenerate gamblers out there, I'd especially put my money on one of the random call outs to what ever stupid guests they bring in...
