The British has the best trained and best equipped army and mercenaries in the WORLD, by far, but a bunch of guerilla snipers whittled down their troops and supplies until they could finally be out maneuvered (Cornwallis actually entrapped himself!) and were forced to surrender by a group of ragtags (all the paintings make them appear really nice, don't they?!)!
The BIG difference now is that Biden can NOT count on the Military to side with him!

The problem of a very advanced system that we live in is that it is extremely vulnerable to disruption. It's that extreme fragility that makes me think that it would take less than 100000 dedicated guerrillas to collapse the government. The more complex the system the more vulnerable it is to sabotage. This is something we need to address if our country survives the current crisis.

So take 100000 armed American citizens down to the southern border to put a stop to all the Illegal Immigration. I posted this on here a few weeks back and the same people in this thread were telling me it would only take 2 Army divisions and a few Apache helicopters to overwhelm them. So those same 100000 people can’t secure our borders but could overthrow the government?

Stephen Coonts wrote a book called "Liberty's Last Stand" that addressed this scenario. No, F-15s and nuclear bombs are not needed. A president who would attack his own people will be defeated in short order. The military would be split, for on thing...

The biggest issue would be communication.
Otherwise it wouldn't take a huge number of people to basically shut down the country from the inside.
The more people the less likely the military and government agents, AKA cops, are to act against. If it's just a couple militias it would be shut down with the swiftness.

Compare the salary of an entry-level Police job with that of an E1 with less than 1 year in service and see who is more likely to be loyal to "who is paying them".
