Biden Launching Changes to PPP to reach Minorities....

Today Biden will launch changes to make it easier for minorities in low income areas, women, green card holders (non-citizens) and felons to receive PPP loans. Now I agree with accepting applications only from small businesses for a period of time. I can get that. But why all this stuff with specifically targeting minorities and women? Why weren’t they able to apply before? There is still $150 Billion of PPP money left from January. Why can’t they fill out an application? Or is this just a political move?

I seem to recall changes were made for certain mortgage qualifications to give similar demos access to homes. That turned out swimmingly.

They already fricking did that! The first few days of the PPP this round, only minorities were allowed to submit applications through the SBA web portal. If you were white, you could fill out an application, but they were only submitting minority ones for the first 4 or 5 days

Maybe Biden should stay away from anything related to minorities. His knowledge about minorities is simple and revolves around viscous, racist, stereotypes.
For example... he doesn't believe black people are smart enough to use the internet.

Need to keep getting the PC points because 2022 will be here before they know it.
Anyone that has their records in order can go to a bank (theoretically, applications are online) that handles SBA loans and easily fill out an application.
If they need assistance to get their records in order for submission, there are a number of different options to assist (CPAs, bookkeeping companies, payroll companies...). The application is based strictly off of historical payroll records.
