Waited til he’s less than 2 months out to burn it all down. Haha! Why weren’t these decisions made long ago?

This from Google AI:

"Yes, anti-personnel landmines are largely banned from use under the Ottawa Treaty (also known as the Anti-Personnel Mine Ban Convention), which prohibits the use, production, stockpiling, and transfer of these weapons, with most countries in the world having signed on to the treaty; however, a few notable countries, including the United States, have not fully ratified it and may still use them in certain situations."

fricking Joetato is gonna start WWIII and somehow Trump will get blamed for it.

This goes exactly against US policy that Biden reinforced.

quote:

As a result of the decision, the United States will not develop, produce, or acquire anti-personnel landmines, not export or transfer anti-personnel landmines except when necessary for activities related to mine destruction or removal and for the purpose of destruction.  They will not use anti-personnel landmines outside the Korean Peninsula, they will not assist, encourage, or induce anyone outside the context of the Korean Peninsula to engage in activity that would be prohibited by the Ottawa Convention, and undertake to destroy anti-personnel landmines and their stockpiles not required for the defense of the Korean Peninsula

The US isn’t party to that treaty, nor is Russia.

I’m old enough to remember the rhetoric of the 2016 campaign sky screamers saying DJT was going to start WW3 right after he took office.

I’ve voted in every single local, state, and national election since I turned 18 in 1996, fwiw. My only two POTUS regrets have been McCain and Romney. I’ve never pushed a button for a democrat to hold office in any capacity in 28 years and never will.

Literally Hitler. Burn everything to the ground to not be held accountable for his crimes against humanity.

Don't invade a country, you won't step on a land mine

Pretty simple.

Don’t break a treaty that allows a bordering country to join nato and the conflict never happens. You are so ignorant to why this happening. It’s almost funny to your stupidity but also so sad. Congrats on being an idiot I guess.

So, it would be ok to use land mines along our border?

This won't change the outcome of the war. It will only make things worse for Ukraine.
