Beyonce Fires Reebok For Lack of Diversity

The 37-year-old Formation singer reportedly walked out of a meeting with Reebok because of the brand's lack of diversity, pointing out that no one in the room shared her skin color or her personal experiences.
'She had a meeting at Reebok and they had a whole presentation of everything, potential products, how this could all look, and she kind of took a step back and said, "Is this the team that will be working on my product?"
'Somebody said, "Yes," and she said, "Nobody in this room reflects my background, my skin color and where I’m from and what I want to do." So she took a step back and left and then it did not come to terms.'

Bc this patriarchal society has really been tough for Beyoncé

I mean, it's her right to do so

MLK would be proud by that judging criteria.

I mean, I think this demand for diversity - and Beyoncé in general - are stupid as frick.
But she’s free to do what she wants especially in the context of private enterprise.
Instead of walking out she could be an adult and just state her concerns and ask for more diversity and see how Reebok responds though.

This screams of staged virtue signaling.

Never once in my life did I ever want someone who is giving me money to reflect my background, skin color, where I and from, and what I want to do.
Jeebus, it's her prerogative, but damn what an idiot.

Must be rough being uber wealthy for half your life and have people literally worship you for singing songs that you don't even write

What if everyone in the room was black and absolutely sucked at their jobs? Would she rather a shite product so she can be a racist bitch?

Just like we're free to point out she's a stupid racist.

Wouldn't have a problem with this one bit if a white person could make the same statement and face zero social, economic, political or legal consequences for it, as I'm certain she will not.
Also wouldn't have a problem with this one bit if a straight baker could freely decide he didn't want to bake a wedding cake for two homos and face zero social, economic, political or legal consequences for it.
But that is not the case...at all.

I feel the same way about NFL defensive backs. I will never pay them a single dime of my money again.

She’s just like so fierce and brave. Like do these people have any idea what they’re missing out on. Black women are like literally the smartest and most powerful people like ever

because companies that hire on diversity quotas arent as successful and therefore dont make the kind of money to overpay you millions for a stupid commercial you racist bitch

You want Reebok to go out and hire a multimillionaire high yella pop singer from ATL that's married to a rapper/NBA owner?
Seems a bit demanding
