So the next best thing is to reduce the DOE's power and influence as much as she possibly can to an absolutely insignificant level and she's doing a great job of that.
Again trying to deal with Obama's Title IX issues aside, which is a good thing, she really hasn't done much too reduce it and her proposals have been bordering on expanding it. Allowing more school choice could be a reduction but not if the proposal is for the choice to be a result of government funding and the inevitable meddling.

f you're going to start requiring people to report federal civil violations or criminal misdemeanors when they suspect it based in the absence of information then you better start reporting anything that meets that standard at the federal level and an even lower standard at the state and local level

You're comparing apples to hand grenades.

It is amazing how Democrats are putting ILLEGAL Immigrants above American citizens.

It's their voting base now. Who else do they have?

All this does is ensure these kids don’t go to school... are we better off with them sitting at home?

And here I thought the prog filth were the ones who wanted to change the meanings of words to fit their emotional arguments to expand the nanny state and when shown the actual definition resorting to some new emotional justification with a comparison made so exteme they resort back to redefining words.

That's EXACTLY what I knew you were going to say.

Perfect. Thank you so much for verifying everything I knew about her vile detractors. Idiots.
is it not true? I would think part of a Secretary of Education's qualifications are classroom experience, particularly in classrooms of underprivileged children.

While I agree she's under qualified, I disagree with this as the only basis of qualifications. There are a lots of experiences, qualifications, and attributes that makes for a good leader. Some people are just good at running a company or organization because they're natural leaders regardless of their knowledge of the inner workings but find the people with that knowledge and use their abilities to make them flourish. Some leaders are experts and are successful by applying that expertise to make appropriate changes.

Problem was that she didn't seem to have much of any level of expertise, leadership experience, or exceptional occupational performance that would lead to one’s considerations. That said, qualifications make success more likely but they aren’t predetermined.

I don't think she's under qualified because of her limited experience in her area of oversight, I think she's under qualified because her qualifications are largely a result of being born into influence and then marrying into more influence.

Sounds like Hillary and every Kennedy the Democratic Party keeps foisting on the public.
