You've both pointed out the way to get this illegals in schools problem rooted out:
So what exactly is this problem that you want to expand the federal government to root out? The common theme here is how much better the public school system in Texas is than Louisiana but this problem that needs rooted out is far more prevalent in Texas than Louisiana.

And it seems to me the problem you'll be catching is comprised of people who at least value education so those who are here illegally and don't value education and let their kids run wild are a bigger problem and will be less likely to be caught, and those who do value it will now be less likely to send their children to school. So now we have the worse segment still here plus a larger group of uneducated people running around with less value and more problems.

And since being undocumented is not a crime in and of itself, and most illegal immigrants are visa over stays, that would be quite aa costly and time consuming undertaking to take on as we further expand the federal government's role in education which is apparently what you prefer.

Every time there's a lawsuit about prayer in schools we are shown that schools are very much an arm of our federal government.
That's a terrible example to use unless you believe the Constitutional's limits on government are actually an expansion of government.

Oh I agree, but that's irrelevant. They are a part of a federal agency. Every time there's a lawsuit about prayer in schools we are shown that schools are very much an arm of our federal government

And you are still wrong. Schools are state ran, not federally.

How about we just roundup these criminals and deport them whenever and where ever we can find them? In schools, hospitals, job sites, grocery stores, traffic stops.

Anywhere they are discovered they should be deported to their home country.

There is absolutely no reason we allow this. No reason to let someone break into our country, live under its protections and opportunities. Illegals are much more of a hindrance to our country than whatever benefits they bring to the table. If we didnt spend taxpayer money to educate, feed, house and provide medical care for these criminals we could use that money to better our education systems and trade schools. To help lower economic AMERICANS to get better paying jobs.

Could be improper entry which is a crime.

Could be unlawful presence which is a civil matter, but still "unlawful".

I'd argue that the schools are committing a federal crime by aiding and abetting illegal aliens.

And you of course know that a civil violation is still violating the law, so stuff that "they aren't criminals" semantic bullshite.

She was my favorite appointment because she drove these virtue-signaling "education" types totally insane. (And she doesn't seem to have as many dumb ideas as Sessions, who just pisses most everyone off because he's a vag.)

They and their statist leaders attacked her mercilessly, without even a second thought that they were attacking a female appointee (not the right party or ideology to support THAT female in a prestigious and powerful position).

It's also hilarious to me that her detractors seem to operate under the assumption that she was handed a well-oiled and finely tuned machine.

Eta: See, e.g., post directly above this, by another knuckle-dragging Arky poster (alt/troll), posted as I was typing.

And they are aiding and abetting any number of civil and criminal violations one can theorize from the information provided in the various records provided to the school. I bet you could find a lot of potential "tax fraud" and financial crimes just from that information and observations of the students and parents so why not include that too?

Could be. And you dropping your kid off at school in a car well outside your means could indicate you've committed fraud. Or it could mean you're driving a company car or borrowing it.

But if we find it necessary to start digging into information for certain things, we can't pick and choose to ignore other things. And I'm sure they would make for an effective use of time.

If you're going to start requiring people to report federal civil violations or criminal misdemeanors when they suspect it based in the absence of information then you better start reporting anything that meets that standard at the federal level and an even lower standard at the state and local level.
