Although disturbing, I'm inclined to give this a pass, provided a broader search does not reveal more items of concern. We were all teenagers once.

Actually it would have to me, even though there was no actual evidence to support the allegations, only exculpatory evidence.

Because he is just now fighting against (some of) the Democratic powers that be.

Robert’s story just keeps getting better. He also jokes about being a deadbeat dad which he had to apologize for this week.

I've found it more true than not if the left heavily props someone up the sicker they are.

He's a freak. Who thinks of these things, at any age?

This. I was trying to figure out how to get laid when I was that age. And sports.

The key phrase being “when he was a teenager”

How ironic.

Didn’t matter that this guy was a teenager

Lets see if this gets the same treatment Kavanaugh got. I'm sure it'll be similarly handled by our objective news media.

In a profile that also documented O'Rourke's involvement in a hacker group, Reuters reported: "it’s unclear whether the United States is ready for a presidential contender who, as a teenager, stole long-distance phone service for his dial-up modem, wrote a murder fantasy in which the narrator drives over children on the street, and mused about a society without money.

Well he was emo as f**k in a grunge band so that is not surprising. Unsettling and not a quality of someone that I want to be POTUS, but not surprising.

I guess I'd have to read the thing about running over kids

Was it horror or some "fantasy" as you seem to blindly imply here?

Yeah, it was a story he wrote as a 15 year old and shared on a message board. Any normal person who read the actual Reuters piece is going to take the whole thing as a positive. Go read it.

So, of course, the majority thrust on here is going to hate it.

Sorry, but this is seriously reaching to use as any sort of ammunition.

Being acused of sexual assault/rape is a little different than the fictional writings of a 16 year old.

Granted the later is disturbing, but it isn’t a crime.

I'm not crazy about digging into people's childhoods. But this is a pretty bizarre piece of fiction writing I must say. But these are the new rules the left has given us. No part of a person's life is off-limits, no matter how young they were. So we're just playing by their rules. Suck it up, Beto.

Killing kids is acceptable to Democrats; a teenage boy at the peak of puberty dry humping a girl (unfounded) is reprehensible.

Same reason Gillespie didn't find the Northam photo. Republicans can't find their butts with both hands.
