Do you realize how much dumb **** gets posted on here every day. It's mind boggling. I reserve my right to correct people and make fun of them for being dolts.

King,

Interesting you posted. I read something a while back about the Iran new sanctions Trump put in place and liberal Cali was lobbying hard for them, and I thought, when is the last time Cali agreed with Trump on ANYTHING. Then I saw that Cali is a huge pistachio exporter, second only to Iran and are now making a fortune. No doubt the Pelosi's of the world placed some calls on pistachio futures.

The Muslims burned all that knowledge when they set fire to the great library in Alexandria.

The great library and its decline and destruction predate the rise of Mohammed.

I did remember something else as I got a 3lb bag of pistachios for Christmas

Lots of debate about that. LINK

quote:

Omar ordered him to destroy the library on grounds that if what is in the library agrees with the contents of the Qur’an, then it is redundant. And, if the contents of the library do not agree with the Qur’an, then such contents are heretic.”

It is worth mentioning that Umar has also ordered the burning of other libraries in other countries. Moreover, Salah Aldin did similar things in

That there is a lot of debate was what I disagreed with.
Did a mullah burn or tear down a building? Sure.
But the Library had undergone most of its decline over decades and long before the mullahs did whatever they did. Not going to link all the history of this greatest of libraries but its there for anyone who wishes to read up. If I remember correctly a Coptic leader did much of the final destruction?

Don't care about anyone but the US

The US now has 2 locations on opposite ends to fight RUSSIA /China

Iraq was costly, but it has oil reserves to fund a few bases on some parliament villages

Well, the honest answer is culture. There is Olduvai in South America, but some of the earliest civilizations originated in the middle east, especially between the rivers.

Amazing food, sexy women, tons of jaw dropping cultural, historic, and religious sites of importance.

If y’all stepped outside of your comfort zone, read a book, or just left the US once in your life y’all would know the world is a remarkable place full of both positive and negative things.
