That doesn't sound outrageous to me. Obamacare really inflated the cost.

1,500/month. Thanks Obama. Would rather pay it than the government garbage he wants everyone to have. And it will def cost me more than 1,500/month when Bernie changes the tax code.

I hate Bernie but that might not be that far off. I’ve seen lots of people on this site say they pay close to 1000 and sometimes over that in monthly premiums.

Sure. 75 year old smokers do. Normal families don’t.
1000 month happens all the time with healthy families.

Yeah I am not seeing it
Family plans are not "average american"
You cant pay for multiple people and claim that is a one person expense
And that is completely optional to 1) not have the second person working and 2) have kids that need covered

arse. We both have jobs and pay for our own insurance.

That's where you attack you either force the medical markets to adjust their pricing or open our market to the world and you're competing with countries that charge 1/4 with what you do.

What is he smoking I pay nowhere near that,
Now cue the idiots that say "I pay $12/paycheck" and think that's what their insurance costs.

The annual premium for me and my child plus the yearly out of pocket max, which I never reach, is about half that.
Posted on 2/19/20 at 10:28 pm to RocketPower
That’s how much I pay for a family of 4. Through work.

No, that lying POS said it just as he meant it. It's the message he spreads even if not truthful.

Me and my employer pay more than that but I pay more like 8k.

I think our portion is $550/mo. Employer pays a majority of it though.

Unlike most of y'all in this thread, I'm just paying for myself at this point so I'm catching a break.
My health is $1700 a year with a $1600 deductable.
I spend right around $2200 a year on health, dental, and vision.

Plus the deductibles. It’s not an insane statement at all.
