Bernie plans to eliminate past due medical debt to the tune of $81 billion

Bernie has introduced a proposal to eliminate all of the $81 billion in past due medical debt held by 79 million Americans. It is fully paid for by establishing an income inequality tax on large corporations that pay CEOs at least 50 times more than average workers. .

But what Bernie can offer is an alternative tax to offset your repayments at only double the new tax rates he proposes, since you've, ya know, benefited somehow from paying out of your own earnings already thereby proving your capability to pay even more.
