Of course we all know his affinity for socialism but have ya'll ever read a detailed platform of his plans? I went to his website to pull some information for a post I made the other day and I ended up diving into the platform details he lists and holy shite, this guy wants a full government take over of every piece of your life.

•Eliminating Medical Debt
•Tax on Extreme Wealth

I'm not going to copy/paste every point so I'll pull some highlights from some of these categories that stood out to me. I'd encourage you to click the link and do a thorough read over all his plans.

Abolish ICE and CBP
Decriminalization of illegal border crossings
On "Workplace Democracy"
Prohibit the firing of workers for any other reason but "just cause".
On Housing for All
National rent control
Construct and renovate more than 9 million public housing units
Provide free high speed internet in public housing
Prohibit landlords from refusing section 8 tenants
Restrict evictions to "just cause"
Place a 25 percent House Flipping tax on speculators who sell a non-owner-occupied property, if sold for more than it was purchased within 5 years of purchase.
On Justice and Safety for All
Ending cash bail
On Gun Safety
Forced buy back of "assault weapons"
On Jobs for All
Enact a federal jobs guarantee
Create 20 million jobs through the Green New Deal
On Fair Banking for All
Cap consumer loan and credit card interest rates at 15%
Theres a lot more absurdities like requiring private companies of a certain profit level to publicly reveal executive pay, forced employee ownership of large corporations, forced right of first refusal offered to employees with the subsidization of a government bank any time a large corporation goes bankrupt, up for sale or moves overseas.
I'll cut it off there but holy shite, this guy wants to nationalize your healthcare, education, housing, internet, job, investments, retirement.

The parts about him wanting Trump supporters either shot or thrown in a labor camp is what's gonna make sure he isn't elected.

Hopefully he wins the democrat nomination because this country can’t be dumb enough to vote for him over Trump . It would likely be a landslide victory for Trump.

I'm at the point where if Bernie gets the nomination, I can see myself camping out in Florida to help register and get as many Trump voters to the polls as we can.
A declared communist as the democrat nominee would be the biggest existential threat America faces.
Trump vs Bernie wouldn't be just republican vs democrat, liberal vs conservative, it would be Capitalism vs Communism and Capitalism has to win for America's sake.

I know a lot of never trumpers who have said that said they would vote for Trump if Bernie was the nominee.
Lots of Wall street and establishment democrats would vote for Trump as well.

Bernie could do a shite ton of damage with executive orders and rule making process through the DOJ, Treasury, State, Labor, HHS, Urban, and Education departments and we will have to rely on the Courts to contain those as much as we can but Communists have very little respect for the judiciary.

I don't like to acknowledge him as a serious person but had to chip in here.
All of these things would essentially create an illiquid housing market and zero out demand for low cost housing. The only investable properties right now with decent cap rates would become univestable
Anyways don't pay too much attention to the platforms of the crazies they can't implement any of it.

This thought struck me the other day. There's plenty of wealthy Democrats in Congress who've made millions in real estate and stock market investments. They're not voting anything that takes money out of their pockets. I'd watch for any Obamacare like exemptions buried in the fine print. But Bernie doesn't have friends in the Democrat party. It's why he's an Independent until primary season. it's why the DNC rigged their debate against him. shite, Hillary just told us the mainstream party thoughts about him.
But Sentrius is correct, he could still do plenty of damage through EOs.
