If we cut military spending to european levels (something not politically possible and unwise on its face), it would account for a mere 10% of medicare for all costs.

Maybe at your smelly union hall that math works out, but not in the real world.

medicare for all would cost 3.5-4 trillion a year according to most studies.

I actually was off, but not by that much.

If we cut military spending by 500 billion annually, it would amount to about 10-12% of medicare for all costs.

but this is NEVER going to happen. No way would there be political support for such a drastic reduction in military spending.
