I wonder how history will treat this group of Democratic Presidential candidates?
I’ll make a wild guess.. we do not need to make plans for a Mt Rushmore II dedicated to them?

Bernie does know where the money will come from, tho. A nice chunk of the money for Bernie’s plan will come from that well over-bloated military budget. There is no mystery there.

You could cut the military budget to zero and it wouldn't pay for 1/3 of the costs of Medicare for All.

But you probably didn't know that because most of your ilk doesn't know economics and finance for shite.

Typical trumpanzie logic. Most of the trumpanzies complain about the US footing the military bill for other countries, then get upset when they find out that much of the military savings will go toward the huge medical expense problems in this country.

How about you learn basic fricking math?

If we cut to European levels ($100 bil), it would 100% pay for Medicare.

I don’t agree with Sanders, but there’s no need to misrepresent reality.

What are the comparative population numbers in your reality?

Let’s pretend Bernie would cut the military budget by $200B (he won’t). That would be over a 30% cut.

That would pay for less than 10% of the estimated program costs. And that means it would pay for less than 5% of the actual program costs.

A simple Google search of what the outflows for defense are in the United States and what projected outflows are for Medicare for All would probably be would do you a world of help. Or even take a multiplier of the current outflows of public healthcare spending via Medicare and Medicaid (which are combined double defense spending and cover only about a third of the American population - and not even fully cover at that).

Or are you too stupid to use Google, too?

This dude is a fricking train wreck. No wonder the DNC torpedoes him.

I’d give my left nut for him to run 3rd party. This guy’s ideals are dangerous beyond belief, but I’d have to give him some respect if he blew it all up and ran as an independent.

But we all know he won’t because he’s a pussy that settles for 2nd place.

Typical low energy and IQ progressive.. The last 3 years we have heard about how much of an enemy RUSSIA is.. and so much so that we have to remove Trump from office now because he doesn't stand up to RUSSIA enough. You can't have it both ways.. you want war with Russia or you want to have free lube when other countries bend you over and pound you in the arse.

Bernie is not the only Dem supporting Medicare for all.

Pete, Warren, and Tulsi are as well.

Biden supports expanding Obamacare. Which is also a death sentence

Lets not forget that when you gut the military budget by more than half the first thing that takes a hit is pay and personnel. So, you can add 100,000+ of unemployed military vets to the shriveled economy and medicare rolls.
